Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill

Me and my husband traveled to Washington DC during an April vacation. The hotel was great, staff is friendly, and the room is very spacious and comfortable. We ate at the hotel for dinner and breakfast, very good. Although there was no valet parking available when we arrived at 8:00pm, the hotel staff recommended a parking garage a few feet away, which was convenient.

My husband and I booked a stay at this Hilton on a recent Saturday evening when we were in town visiting friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, from curb (valet) to curb (valet). The staff went out of their way to meet our requests about room locale, early check-in, etc. The hotel seems quite large. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. The one slightly negative was that overall some things looked a little tired and needing some attention beyond the daily cleaning. For example, while our room was clean and spacious, I noticed that the metal "cup" on the closet door handle area was missing and I could not for the life of me locate the safe in our room. I never called the front desk to find out where the safe may have been hidden as we were only there for one night, but I do find it curious that I could not easily locate it. The one definite criticism I do have is that while there were only two guest in our room, there were only 2 bath and 2 hand towels to be found for us the bathroom. Again, not a huge problem, but curious that the large, well appointed bathroom was not stocked with at least 4 bath and hand towels.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Washington Capitol Hill. A very nice hotel where we benefited from being there at a not very busy time, which allowed for personal attention from the staff. This hotel is walkable from Union Station and walkable to museums on the National Mall. Many restaurant options are nearby, particularly for breakfast. Ask for a room facing the US Capitol to enhance the experience and don't miss a cocktail in the lobby bar.

We stayed at the Hilton hotel for 4 nights, everything was so clean, our service was great, and our food was excellent. We booked a room with a capitol view which was definitely the highlight of our stay. It is more expensive but so worth it. There is daily breakfast, lunch and dinner served.

I had a wonderful experience! Danny, the bartender, was fantastic—he helped us and recommended some great places for our family to enjoy. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and cleaned. The staff were friendly especially the doormen. The location was central and close to everything.
