Hampton Inn Washington Downtown Convention Center

This property is located in a central location, which is why we opted to stay here. Like any other downtown hotel, the parking is very pricey; however, there is a public parking spot right around the corner. We were able to find a parking spot in a nearby garage using a parking app. It would have been good if the hotel could match the price for parking. The room experience was as expected; however, the staff could have been a bit more helpful. We needed room service, kept calling the lobby, but no one answered the phone. When we went downstairs, we were told that the individual was the only person attending the desk, so they could not pick up the phone. The staff at the breakfast could be a little more hospitable, after all, they are in the hospitality industry. There is always room for improvement.

Checked us out early and still didn’t offer us a late check out… sign right by desk asking check out late……John T didn’t wanna help us AT all! We were not treated with hospitality at all.No way the rate went up by $35 and never notified us and just charged the card!

Excellent customer service from everyone. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff attentive and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast great. We will be back! Wonderful value. Location is excellent as well.

We just stayed for one night and everything was good. Specially the staff was extra friendly, the location was great. Definitely will consider coming back. It is all you really need in a hotel, specially if you plan to visit around and have something close to come back and rest.
