AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Convention Center

I’m here now and wishing I chose anything else. I rarely write bad reviews but this is needed. The room wasn’t ready at check in time. Which is extra annoying when the app asks for your arrival time (noon for me) and I understand the room not being ready at noon but it still wasn’t at 3. It is extremely loud. Like so loud that I likely will be getting zero sleep for the next four days. There are no drawers… you look around and no storage. Finally you see two tiny drawers. Better than nothing. Open the drawer and it is a safe! The room is small and can’t even watch tv in bed due to the bad layout. I am solidly regretting my choice of hotel, especially for the exorbitante price. I am competing in competitions this weekend which is going to be miserable due to the lack of sleep that will be happening. In addition to that I sent an email a couple weeks ago asking if they could assist with surprising my husband with a cake or cupcakes as we will be here for his 40th birthday. I got a response they would be happy to help and that someone from this hotel would reach out. Still not a word from anyone. This is my first and it will also be my last Marriott. Huge disappointment.

Stayed for a trade show at the expo centre. 3 nights wc 10 March 2025. Excellent rooms, good bathroom, good WiFi. Bar OK for the stay. Did not try breakfast etc due to other commitments. Access to other facilities and amenities all good, within short travel from the hotel.

Had an amazing experience with my 5 day stay..Room was clean. (loved the modern decor) Highly recommend breakfast, they have something for every diet. The service was exceptional!! Everyone was friendly ,always had a smile and anticipated my family's every need..There is a restaurant/bar at the top floor that you must visit. Chef's take a lot of pride in all there dishes..Will definitely be back

Came to DC for what I thought would only be one night. The morning of checkout I came down to the desk to see if they could accommodate me for another night. The lady at the front desk must have been having a bad morning because no sooner did I get the words out of my mouth she told me “I can’t help you. You need to go online and do it yourself.” Sometimes it is not what you say to someone but HOW you say it. I thanked her, packed my things and went to another hotel. The hotel was very nice and modern. The room was clean and quiet. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I did not do breakfast at the hotel. It was $20 for some sliced sandwich meat and fruit on a buffet.

What a great way to spend a working weekend in DC, great location and amazing service from Marisse at Front Desk to all employees working there, had an amazing experience from the time we checked in till our departure, we had daily breakfast and they were very accommodating, the bar lounge in the evening was spot on and the bartender was great and helpful, Room was superb and bed was very comfy
