Hampton Inn Rehoboth Beach

My family and I came Rehoboth for a Celebration of Life Memorial. My father in law booked our rooms. LEVERYTHING was wonderful! We checked in and the young lady was cheerful, helpful and informative. Her and the other gentleman ( I didn't get their names) work wonderfully together, they gave us some great dinner recommendations. The room was very neat and clean. It was all up to date and in great condition. Housekeeping does an amazing job. They serviced my room even though it is every other day, and that was appreciated. Breakfast was yummy! There were a lot of choices and Terri was so nice! The manager was so kind and she allowed our big group to eat in the conference room they have, it meant a lot to my family. Checkout was fast and easy, my only complaint was Leslie. She had the worst attitude. She acts like she hated her job. Her tone was disrespectful and she spoke to my family and I as if she was above us. She was doing a word puzzle and I think she was upset we interrupted her. She also lied to the couple checking out after us, telling them she was management- thats insulting to the 2 managers I met on Friday and Saturday morning (who were outstanding) We want to make this a yearly trip, but if she is still there we may have second thoughts. Overall the trip was a great one! 9/10! 10/10 if we didn't encounter Leslie.

We were in town on NYE to see a band we like called "Hot Sauce" at Bethany Blues. We waited until we arrived in town and picked this hotel on a whim. We wanted to be under 5 minutes from the restaurant. Great choice. Priced very reasonable for NYE! Newly refurbished and very clean. Pleasant Staff. We got the executive king room and it had the most amazing king size bed and large walk in shower. There is an indoor pool onsite, and a small gym and game room for kids or adults :). Adequate free breakfast. Nothing fancy but with all the necessities you may need to jumpstart your day; coffee, juice, teas, assorted pastries, cereal, hot food, etc. This hotel makes for a great stay if you're doing some outlet shopping. It is literally right next door. There is also a DART bus stop right outside of this hotel that would make for an easy trip to Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk. No need to move your Car. Also great for families with small kids looking for a quick getaway because the hotel has the indoor pool and game room. Plenty of restaurants are also along the coastal highway and some within walking distance. We enjoyed our short stay and would stay again.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn for the Christmas holidays while visiting my family and there was no room at the house. It was a good decision as the hotel gave me a wonderful room with a king sized bed on the 4th floor. It had a view of the parking lot but it was always dark out when I was in the room. The room was really large and the king sized was so comfortable that I had an excellent night’s sleep both nights and it was so nice to just relax in bed in the morning. The lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays and was very festive for Christmas with decorations and even fresh Chocolate chip cookies when I arrived. The staff here is super nice and very accommodating. The room they gave me was so quiet and relaxing and because the hotel was quiet they let me check out late so I could finish some work in the room. I thought this was nice of them. The breakfasts were premade but still nice. They have a nice waffle bar and. Selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts and juices and a perfect way to start the day. I made myself the perfect breakfast sandwich from all the fixens. It was a nice and relaxing stay and I will be back in the future. The only bad part was there was no housekeeping service on Christmas Day but I survived and made my own bed. Overall a great stay!

I spend 90+ nights per year in just Hilton brands alone and travel to Rehoboth regularly. I'm middle aged and not high maintenance. Additionally due to my industry/company, I was required to travel during the entire COVID nightmare. I totally understand the challenges and changes the pandemic brought to hotels and have a great deal of respect for the hospitality industry as a whole. My issues at this Hampton Inn is basically based around staff short comings. My major issues: Lady at check-in was not friendly. It was a Sunday at 2:30pm and the room I selected via the app was not cleaned/ready. I asked why the maids made up rooms with no occupancy instead of the rooms that were checked in via the app and got my reply? 3 out of the 7 mornings at 8:00am, breakfast was missing/out of scabbled eggs. I watched two people walk across the highway and enter the hotel from the side door to eat their fill of the complimentary breakfast? Maids never replaced hair conditioner or lotion. My room and I'm assuming all rooms are missing ottomans. Checkout was a different lady. She never asked me about my stay of thanked me. At an average of $130.00 (including tax) per night; expensive for such a dismal Hampton Inn experience.

I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. My parents went for a quick trip to Rehoboth Beach and unfortunately my dad ended up in the hospital and they have been stuck there for almost 3 weeks. The staff at Hampton Inn has been taking such good care of my mom. They even signed a get-well card for my dad and chipped in for a gift. Such a random act of kindness, it restores my faith in humanity. Thank you ❤
