Comfort Inn Wethersfield Hartford

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn Hotel in Wethersfield, and I am absolutely disgusted by the condition of the hotel and the terrible customer service I received. Upon checking into my room, I immediately noticed cockroaches on the bed, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were random fresh stains on the curtains, which made the room feel even more unclean and uncomfortable. We left almost immediately after checking in due to the conditions. There were also noticeable holes in the walls, which made the room look run-down and poorly maintained. These conditions were not only unsanitary but also embarrassing to have paid for. When I tried to resolve the situation by requesting a refund, the hotel staff has been completely uncooperative. I have called several times and even visited in person, but my efforts have been ignored. They refuse to answer my phone calls or address my concerns directly. It’s extremely frustrating to be treated this way after paying for a room that was not only subpar but outright disgusting. I would strongly advise against staying here. The lack of cleanliness and the refusal to address my complaint or provide a refund is inexcusable. I will never stay at this location again

Awful…hotel had cockroaches on first floor. Stained sheets and carpeting. Gapping hole in the wall in one room on 2nd floor. Elevator didn’t work. Stairwell door didn’t open. If ever an emergency you would be trapped. Checked out 45 minutes after arrival, five families there for Dance competition. Couldn’t have card credited. No manger on duty til 10pm. Told to call back. Which we did for 35 hours with no answer at all. Phone just rang then disconnected. Contacted Corporate office twice and reported the safety concern and cleanliness. Worst hotel anyone ever stayed in…!

Despite terrible reviews room was tired but acceptable. No shampoo, shower didn't drain, no soap the second day but the deal killer was the COCKROACHES. Beware, travelers, I won't make this mistake again. Should have trusted the reviews.

As soon as I opened the door I was immediately hit with the odor of cigarette smoke. I found potato chips stuffed in the heater when I went to turn it on. There’s black mold in the bathroom on the wall behind the toilet. No place to hang wet towels. Mildew on tub grout. No spindle for toilet paper. On the third floor the elevator down button is missing , just a piece of plywood where the button should be. Hot breakfast is included but it’s mid at best. The hot eggs tasted like powdered eggs , bacon looked good and the coffee was good. They had a Belgian waffle iron , pre packaged danish and muffins , white and wheat bread and fresh fruit. I don’t recommend staying there.

🚩🚩🚩Avoid!!! Avoid!!! Avoid!!! 🚩🚩🚩 . This place should be shut down. 😡 I tried calling multiple times for the 2 days prior to my visit. They never answered the phone. The first room they gave us had no beds and trash in it. I'm not even kidding. You can't make this up. The man in line before us was given a key to a room that was already occupied. Second room they gave us had stained carpets, ripped upholstery, and stains on all bedding. The third room they gave us had stained carpets, blood stained mattress pad was just turned over so no one would see it. Hand marks on the head boards and condoms left on drawer. I should have read the reviews. But didn't and paid the price. The front desk agent had the audacity to try to offer us another room like this wasn't an issue. Im not even sure they actually clean the rooms or wash the bedding. It really was THAT BAD!!! I'm still waiting for my refund but doubt I'll ever get it.
