What a DUMP! Stained sheets. Cigarette burns in sheets, rotting wood at the sink, rusting refrigerator, cigarette butts at top of stairs, smells like bleach, A/C unit sounds like it is going to explode, and super thin walls. ZERO Stars!!!! Worst place I have ever stayed at.

Old school motor court. Very friendly, rooms are clean and traditional but could be made brighter and more welcoming with white duvets or comforters and could use a coat of white paint. This place could easily go up a star with those little touches. it’s very convenient to westport, pretty much on the line - and is itself in a very safe and accessible area with a Whole Foods, CVS, Stew Leonard’s, Robeks and restaurants within a half a mile - but you always need a car in Connecticut. Westport Train is the closest and probably a 10$ cab ride but take an Uber Westport Taxi is disgusting and an Uber is probably cheaper.

Do NOT stay here. AC in rooms does not work. Paper thin walls you’ll enjoy hearing everything from your next door neighbor! I asked for extra sheets upon checkin which I did not receive. They do not regulate smoking in the rooms, as upon walking into the room smelt like the guests before us were chain smokers. Stay anywhere but here!

Don’t waste your money .. The rooms needs a total update .The rugs were filthy and the room.smelled .the bathroom was nice better .tge heating system was so noisy it kept me awake ., finally had to just shut it off all together.. very disappointed in this hotel. Hi

We needed a last minute hotel and stumbled upon Econo Lodge , price was very fair and location was perfect ! There are several shops within walking distance and not too far from the town center . Our expectations were not very high due to the fact it's a budget hotel but I will say that they could use a update . The room when we walked in was very musty and floor in bathroom area was very slippery . After we turned the ac on we noticed it was leaking to the point the whole carpet area was wet . We said something to management and they offered to change our room which was nice ! This hotel is very bare bones and pretty much is just a place to sleep and take a quick shower . Manger was very nice and cleaning staff was very friendly it just needs some improving but ok for a night or 2
