We stayed at 1415. On arrival the TV didn't and fireplace did not work. Called and they sent someone out to fix it. Later we had more TV problems resulting in losing the surround sound. I sent an email which was ignored. We used Winter Park Lodging Company. We will not come back here.

We stayed in Bear Crossing 1260 for 6 nights recently while visiting RMNP and the surrounding area. The townhome was great. We loved having all the space (3 bedrooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms) and a full kitchen and laundry area. It was conveniently located for us to go to RMNP most days as well as Colorado State Park, and other scenic areas nearby. One thing was a bit of a nuisance was not having a garage door opener. To park in the garage, you need to park, go upstairs, inside, and downstairs to open the garage door. Considering we only did this once a day it was no problem. Also, the internet and phone did not work during out stay and the front desk didn't do much of anything to help get it working. We would stay here again, if in the area.

The townhome that we stayed in was top notch and in great condition. It had great views and was nicely located in a quiet neighborhood. We noticed that the gas grill was out of LP gas and they brought us more within a couple of hours. The hot tub was very relaxing and someone came daily to take care of it. This place has lots of stairs so it is not for people who have problem getting around but wonderful for those without limitations. Great place with great views of the mountains from the front decks.

My husband and I, along with 3 other couples, stayed at the Bear Crossing Townhomes (the 1260 unit) in early February and we had a fabulous experience! The pictures on the website looked nice, but we were pleasantly surprised to see that the house was even better in person. All 4 couples agreed that the townhome was just as nice as any of our houses back home. The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything you would need to cook â a full set of cookware, every utensil you can think of (well, the can opener could stand to be replaced), toaster, blender (used to create a delicious smoothie on our last night which we named the âPagoda Smoothieâ), casserole dishes, glasses, mugs, tea kettle, coffee maker, dish soap and detergent, and even a full set of spices! I recommend checking the cabinets before you head to the grocery store â there will probably be useful items left by previous guests that would save you from having to buy a few things. The master bedroom was really big with a nice view, a personal fire place, a flat panel TV and big bathroom. I didnât personally stay in that room, but I looked in it. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen sized bed with a personal bathroom and another flat panel TV. Itâs a really comfortable room, but the huge bed makes it a bit of a tight squeeze for walking aroundâŚbut thatâs hardly anything to complain about. The only thing we did was sleep and shower in there anyway. The third bedroom upstairs has two sets of bunk beds and another full bathroom. The bunks have little notes that say no one over 150 lbs should sleep on the top. Well, we had someone over that weight sleep up there with no problems, but itâs probably a good idea to just be safe about it. On the main level, there is a big leather couch that actually turns into a sleeper sofa. Iâm not a big fan of sleeper sofas, but this one was fairly comfortable (or maybe I was just too tired to notice). There is also a fire place, a big TV and a DVD player. There is a half bathroom just off to the side. You enter the house on the bottom level â itâs mainly an area to take off all of your wet ski clothes. There is a full sized washer and dryer down there which is nice. The garage holds two cars, one in front of the other. Outside, there is a hot tub -- the temperature read 104 degrees in the hot tub, but it never felt quite that warm to me although that may have been because it was freezing outside! There is also a grill that we used one night for steaks...and during that time, we got a friendly little visit from two foxes. One was a bit skiddish, but the other had no fear at all and came right up on the porch and just stayed there. I think he would have come inside had we let him! Itâs really nothing to worry about, but if you are scared of foxes, you may want to exercise caution when youâre outside because they came by more than once. Check-in was a breeze. Check out was easy as well â the house requires minimal clean up when you leave and there is a clear list of instructions for what to do when youâre headed out. The house is about a 5 minute drive from Winter Park Resort. I highly recommend staying here if youâre looking for a place to kick back and relax in extreme comfort after a long day on the slopes!
