Rio Grande Motel

Our room was small but clean and the bathroom had been updated. Potentially tight parking and no window views. It's an old motel at the busiest intersection in town. As with many urban motels this age it appears to have mostly long term tenants and some units used for storage or unused. It's likely your neighbors are staying much longer than you and paying much less. I wasn't able to confirm this because reception doesn't open until 9 and we left much before then.

Stayed in the loft room upstairs. The place was very dated and dirty. The carpets were gross and found several long hairs on the supposedly clean sheets. We figured they were from the cleaning staff. We arrived late and slept with the lights on to get through the night. We all said this place will make for a great story someday when we talk about some of the shady motels we’ve been in. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere here for a place to stay!

The motel was clean and comfortable. Some upgrading is needed - but it looked like they had started in some rooms. Very nice owners. The area around the motel has plenty of dining options. No issues with noise or with cleanliness. I will stay here again.

My room was something else. It had murals of horses on the walls. All deocr was about horses. Very nice. Small motel but was very clean in the heart of the city. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.
