Uplift Inn

Uplift Inn was a delightful surprise! The rooms were modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the plush bedding to the thoughtful amenities. We loved the spacious layout and the quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Check-in was a breeze, and they were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. We would definitely stay at Uplift Inn again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It's a hidden gem that offers exceptional value for the price.

The bed and linens were very comfortable! Our stay started a little rocky as the entire town was experiencing a power outage but that was beyond the hotels control. We were given detailed arrival instructions which went smoothly. Our power outage only lasted 15 minutes and the rest of the stay was wonderful! We appreciated the vintage/modern look of the hotel. Quaint and cozy. Big shower!

Review is for *Lift Landing*, same management and website, next door, not shown on TA. PROS: shower, room code for door, sink, location close to Mt. Evans. CONS: Room not aired before our arrival so it was close to 80 degrees w/no A/C. Door drags over-padded new carpet and is difficult to open/close. Very allergenic. Provided fan was loaded w/dust and greasy dirt--unusable. Freezer compartment full of hard frost--unusable. Beds Very Firm foam. No chair or counter space. We managed to get a few hours sleep by: leaving door as open as possible for a couple of hours (no security or privacy); adding our 2" foam toppers to the beds; using our rechargeable mini-fan; taking antihistamines; wearing ear plugs for traffic noise since window must stay open; looking for things to appreciate and focusing on Mt. Evans trip the following day; getting up and leaving quite early :-) Evident attention to minimizing staff effort, while giving minimal attention to customer comfort. No chance of repeat business from us.

We were looking for a place to stay for one night before visiting Mount Evans. Idaho Springs did not have many options that looked good… Uplift Inn had the best reviews so we decided to give it a try. The room was small and basic, but the beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean, which is the most important factor for me! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, inexpensive place… this is it! Very friendly and welcoming management team as well. One warning… there is no air conditioning. The floor fan worked fine for us, but it is something to consider during warm weather.

Absolutely terrible room. No AC and 2 army cots in a dungeon. My wife and I walked into the room and it was in excess of 85 degrees. No ventilation with a fan running. We left immediately. The telephone representative refused to refund the reservation. Numerous more attempts to contact hotel with no resolution. Room was uninhabitable!!!!! Also I believe this motel probably pays for positive reviews. I find it hard to believe anyone would give a positive review to this absolute dump.
