We checked in at 9pm and left by 8am the next day, but not there very long. Stayed in Room 112 which is right off the lobby and next to pool. Quiet. The room was odd, and had a long hallway before reaching the bed/tv. It looks like the room used to be something else, and was converted into a hotel room. Maybe other rooms are nicer. Needs upgrades. It was ok for the price paid. Breakfast was average. Would look elsewhere if staying in town again.

Housekeeping showed up at 9 am on a Sunday morning. They were very loud in the hallway, so I could hear every time they said "Housekeeping!" or when they were talking to each other. I really wanted to sleep in a bit more and check out at 11 am but they made it difficult to do so.

I wish I could give this hotel negative stars. Our daughters were sitting in the pool area a few nights ago when 4x4 tiles started falling off the wall/ceiling above them. One of the girls was hit directly in the head, the both girls were getting hit in the legs and face as the tiles fell and shattered everywhere. After we cleaned up the mess and got both girls back to our rooms safely (both injured from an earlier ski race) we took a look at the pool area…besides all of the mold it’s pure negligence! They are using two box fans bc the dehumidifier is not working, it’s been that way for over a month as I was there in early January and it was the same way. There are tiles throughout the entire pool area ready to fall off the wall in multiple places. They didn’t close the pool, in fact people were swimming in it the next morning. They brought in some guys to scrape the mold off of the area where the tiles had fallen and spackled it. The manager wouldn’t walk into the pool with us so we could show him the damage. He never called over the course of three days to check on our girls, he just happened to be there Sunday when we were checking out. Never once did he apologize or ask our girls if they were ok, instead became defensive and wouldn’t listen. His sloppy mannerism, lack of professionalism and inability to step up in an emergency is the reason why the pool is a dump and his staff has no clue what is going on. I will NEVER stay here again. I’ll pay more and stay in Basalt at the Element where their pool is not painted green to hide the mold. In addition to this there is only 1 working ice maker in the entire hotel, all the way on the third floor. Just a dump!

First off the bathroom tile on room 112 is not attached properly and has huge gaps on the corner wall by the bathroom. It looks like maintenance personnel tried to fix it but did a really poor job. I almost cut my foot on it when I wasn't paying attention. Second my wife left her meds behind and once we noticed I called the front desk around 6pm on a Sunday and the person on the phone told me there was nothing they could do and I had to contact usps. On Monday the usps told me that's not a service they provide. I called and talked to the MANAGER and he informed me the same thing and said to call UPS. They told me the hotel need to fill out a slip with my I fo and payment and they will pick up my belongings. The MANAGER was unwilling to help and refused to do anything. UPS called the hotel to tell them how it works and after UPS told them they will no longer do any business with the hotel then the MANAGER decided to be polite but still never contacted me. I have already filed a claim with hilton worldwide the parent company to hampton inn and corporate has been notified as everyone i talked to was not happy with the manager and unwillingness to help. So beware staff is rude under trained and not helpfull

We arrived late and were given a room next to the elevator and housekeeping. In the morning all we could hear was people outside our door speaking Spanish and people coming and going from the elevators. Upon arrival, we asked the clerk if we could get another room, and she wouldn't make any attempt to accommodate us suggesting that since we were late, we would have to take what was available. The rooms need to be updated. There is worn carpet everywhere and tiles that have been removed and replaced multiple times. For the price we paid, I was disappointed.
