Summit Inn

We wanted a quick getaway and couldn’t decide where to go. Found this gem, called and we were able to get a room and they were able to accommodate our doggie too. Simple room. Friendly staff. Cozy and warm. Clean and well maintained. Great location. Great price. Was great waking up and able to walk across the street and hit the slopes. We loved our stay and we will be back.

First night stay in the US, greeted at reception by a lady who I can only describe as rude. Seems set up for skiers, and was undergoing renovations. Room was okay, a lot of staff had difficulty understanding what we were saying, so ask for Mandeep, who was very helpful.

Dirty, dingy and worn out. All the rooms have these stand alone air conditioners which require the windows to be open about 4”(there is a piece of sheetmetal covering the gap) but i90 is right outside the window and VERY LOUD. Carpets and bedding are disgusting.

This was a safe rest stop, comfy king bed. It's a long hall as my room was at the far end which was great as I had been sitting and driving a long while. The walk was welcome. A drive across the road for something quick to eat. The fries at Community was delightful. The gas station is next to the hotel which is on the main highway. Easy to get back on the highway when ready to leave.

The hotel is in a great location with lovely mountains all around. The hotel is a bit dated and the rooms have very little electronic access (no USB ports, limited outlets). My room had no AC. The front desk staff in general was quite disinterested in saying hello or making guests feel welcome.
