Motel 6 Fort Lupton CO

I have no good things to say. They refused to honor the military discount ($10 off) because the room was in my name vs my sister’s even though she provided her ID and was going to pay for the room (per their policy that the ID and payment names match). We showed up at 2:55, 5 minutes before check in, and the room was not ready for an additional 30 minutes. No discount was offered for this delay even though we booked the room several days before the stay. There was no public restroom to change my toddler during this wait time. The luggage “cart” was a glorified metal basket with the turn radius of a semi. The room was impossible to find as the actual room door was through an unmarked regular door with no markings or keycard slot to indicate that it was anything besides a supply closet. When we asked the service staff where the room was (as she just stood there and watched us struggle with the loaded basket, a toddler, and an elderly dog) her response was an eye roll and heavy sigh,”open that door… and VOILÀ…” Upon entry there was dirt and previous tenant debris EVERYWHERE on the floor. The photo of the floor was only one spot but the whole floor was as covered by dirt as that corner. We asked the front desk for a broom and his response was,”it was just cleaned.” We brought him the full dustpan after WE swept the whole floor. There were TWO separate types of someone else’s hair still in the bathtub- some on the side of the tub and some on the wall of the shower. The toilet paper dispenser was broken and the 50% used TP was just stuck off of the remaining dispenser prong. The a/c was at 62 when we came in and we left it there all night yet it probably didn’t get below 70. We will never stay in another motel 6 again.

We stayed on the first floor and could hear every time the people in the unit above us moved. After two weeks we are still itching (my back, arm and leg) from something in the room/bed that left bites on both of us. Didn't see any evidence of bed bugs.

Made a mistake with reservation. Have stayed there many times. Unwilling to work with me. Staff hung up on me. Manager refused to talk to me. And I was not being rude. I was being very nice and matter of fact. I can't believe how rude they were.

We booked a stay here on our recent move across country. Our check-in experience was horrible. The lady behind the counter told us they didn’t have any parking for pickup trucks and trailers, of any kind. None whatsoever. She told us we would “have to park on the road, or something.” When we told her we didn’t want to park a brand new truck and UHaul trailer along the side of the road somewhere, and tried to suggest a place in the motel lot (which was less than half full), she told us we couldn’t and that if we did, the owner would “wake (us) up, pounding on our door when he (got) in at 1 am. We told her we were concerned about the truck getting hit or broken into, to which she replied, “I don’t care.” We asked for our money back and she threatened to call the cops. We have no idea what for. We were able to get our money refunded, but would not resommend this place to our worst enemies. Hopefully, the place goes out of business, or at least gets taken over by better ownership/management.

The rooms were not as clean as they should be, the beds are OLD and not comfortable. The morning staff are slow and not friendly. Overall not a good stay. The ice machine didn't work very well. and was very NOISY.
