Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Ft. Collins E at I 25

Wife and I are in out 60's and retired. First time in my life I refused to check into a hotel upon arrival with a prepaid reservation. Undesirables / Drug users / Gangs hanging around upon arrival. When I walked it, clerk was behind a bulletproof window and DEMANDED ID for "Every Person" staying in the room. Red flag #1, Then demanded I pay a deposit to insure nothing was stolen from the room, Red flag #2, Watched Police do a slow cruise through the parking lot, Red flag #3, watched a group of gang bangers walking down the hall checking people out, Red Flag #4. I advised the clerk I would NOT provide ID for my wife and I wanted a refund for cancelation because the hotel was not safe. I called Hotels.com, explained the situation and they immediatly refunded my money. Made new reservation at different hotel.

The rooms are still dirty no matter how many times they say they have cleaned them. There is so much fabuloso on the floor that our dog got sick and even though we told the owner this he still let's his maids continue to use it. They all around just don't care about their guests no matter what they tell them that they need to fix. The staff doesn't do there jobs and as far as their continental breakfast goes it's horrible and the coffee tastes burnt and the juices look and taste watered down. If your going to stay at this motel be very cautious and watch all your stuff cause the maids are noisy. None of the staff care about anything around there cause they are only there to collect a paycheck.

Normally I wait until check out .to rate a Hotel but this place for the price is the perfect (above expected ) clean ,well located Nice room And the people that work here including Owner are excellent . I have stayed by university paid twice the money. will not do it again this my new favorite place.

The front desk girl that night was super nice and friendly The 1st room had snotty tissue in the toilet and the toilet wouldn't flush so she was apologetic about and switched us room but the room smell sooooo bad of stale cigarettes 🚬 in a non smoking room. That we had to buy sum fabreez an spray the room.
