Hotel Estes

This place would rate 5-stars if it had better water pressure or at least an adjustable shower head. Other than that, what's not to love? We'd give 4.8 stars if Tripadvisor let you do fractions... Front desk staff were delightful, especially the young man who checked us in. He's a Texas transplant, but don't hold that against him! He was polite, patient, very conversant and offered a wealth of information on local attractions, restaurants and best times to go to various places. And they have this great popcorn machine and smores hours in the evening, so you can make your own in front of the fireplace in the lobby. The view to the west is simply stunning, from the lobby or your room. The rooms are nicely-appointed, spacious, warm and inviting. We arrived in a March wind-storm and found our room cozy, warm and an absolute refuge from the storm. The beds are comfortable and they have a plethora of good pillows. Plenty of counter space around the sink, which is separate from the shower/toilet area. The room had very responsive temperature controls and a nice sized mini-fridge and microwave. Hot water appeared quickly and never ran out. The only down-side might be the water pressure. For the guys, not a problem, but for ladies with long hair, plan on a slow rinse...the water is also very soft. For the price, this is one of the best deals in Estes. We'll definitely be back

Went to get coffee and wait for breakfast at 0650. Woman, hotel general manager, refused us entrance at 0650 then opened door for us to enter stating "lobby" wasn't open. Family member became upset with the manager because temperature was zero degrees and we were requesting to sit and have coffee before breakfast ( woman also stayed she had no coffee). I personally went back after leaving "lobby"to ask for owners or manager's business card to discuss the staff's behavior. The same woman, the general manager, Trisha, was rude with me, refusing to do as I asked. Three times she stated she did not deserve the treatment received from my husband and three times I corrected her saying he was a family member, not my husband. I wrote an online review and received a response from the owner. The owners response was the my "husband" treated the manager inappropriately and accused my family of trying to " break into the lobby". This is a "not so nice", dirty hotel with very rude staff.

The rooms are spacious and clean! The beds are really comfortable, everything from check-in to checkout was smooth and pleasant. We were even pleasantly surprised with a beautiful view from our window. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. We would t change a thing. This hotel delivered!

Great location. Clean room. Has air conditioning for the heat of the day. Only met one staff member and Miles was awesome and went the extra time to make everyone's stay amazing in Estes Park. Keep up the great work. You will not go wrong staying here.

My first trip to Estes Park. I stayed at the Hotel Estes for 3 nights. The hotel was excellent in all aspects. My room was nice, and clean the bathroom fixtures and tiles appeared nearly new. The hotel staff was nice and helpful and answered all my questions. The location was perfect, near town without all the crowds and traffic. I would stay there again.
