This place was quiet, comfortable, and close to everything. The room rates were great in comparison to similar hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and free. Sometimes you don't want or need a hotel that is part of the travel experience, you just need a nice place to stay. This was a nice place to stay!

Totally disappointed in this Marriott property. As Bonvoy members and as frequent Marriott hotel guests, we were shocked that Marriott has their name on this hotel. It was the worse Marriott property we have ever stayed in. We stayed in room 213, the only 2 bedroom suite in the property. The list below is the issues we had. Pictures are included.. >The water did not drain out of the tub, so when you showered, you were standing in your own dirty water. > The floor in the bathroom under the sink was mismatching > The utensil drawer in the kitchen did not have a handle. > The arm rest on one end of the couch was broken > The cushions on the couch sank into the middle as you sit it Bottomline, the room needs major renovation. In our opinion, this does not meet our standards of a Marriott property. We also refrained from having our room cleaned most of our stay (checked in Feb 11th and checked out Feb 16th). The only day we did have our room cleaned, the main room was vacuumed, but not either bedroom. We've contacted the Hotel with this list, including the supporting pictures. Their summary reply, from the assistant GM, was "I can certainly understand your disappointment and embarrassment, and I deeply regret that we did not provide you with the experience you rightfully expected. Please rest assured that we are taking immediate steps to address these issues, and I hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future." Rest assured, we won't be giving them a 2nd chance.

So I stayed here twice and should have learned my lesson the first time. The first time wasn’t great either. This time the body wash was empty so I had to use the small bar of soap on the sink. Then at breakfast they were out is the oatmeal I like so I asked and they brought one packet to me. The next day there was still none and only a few packages of any oatmeal. Say 3 there was only 2 packages left I go down to breakfast at 630 so it’s not like they ran out. What else. There were long pieces of hair in the tub. And a spider in the sink. Then coming down the elevator there was a piece of gum on the floor. Walking out to go to dinner I told the guy at the desk and he said he’ll clean it up but not now. Came back and it was still there. The only bright spot that made it 2 stars and not 1 was Taylor on the counter when I checked in. Very friendly and pleasant.

This property was pretty much what you would anticipate for a TownePlace suites. My first room was clean, although it was missing many kitchen supplies. The front desk offered to send my missing items up, but after about two hours, I went down to retrieve them myself. I believe Staffing might be an issue with this property. I’m a Registered Nurse and I get up very early in the morning for long days at the hospital. I went to bed Monday night about 8 PM, but soon noticed that there was a very loud and raucous group of people on the ground floor outside of my room. They were near the barbecue, there were probably about a dozen, with multiple pick up trucks backed up to the barbecue, with their tailgates down, and literally having a tailgate party. I called the front desk around 8 PM, and was told that quiet time didn’t start until 10 PM. Well, I wasn’t happy, I put earplugs in and try to go to sleep. When I was still awake at 10 PM, I waited till about 10 after for good measure, and called the front desk. She said she would go out and talk to them, they were“a group of guys”. I did see her go outside and have a discussion with them and wish them a good evening. At 11:15, nothing had changed, and the noise was worse than ever, I could hear Bottles crashing, into what was probably a garbage can in the back of one of the pick up trucks. Now I certainly can’t be sure, but based on the use of vulgarity, and screaming, they were probably beer bottles. When I called down to the front desk, this time the desk clerk answered the phone by saying “I’m so sorry“. I asked if there was another unoccupied room where I could at least sleep for the night. She was accommodating, but in the time it took her to bring up my keys, I had actually thrown all of my belongings into my suitcase and my backpack, and moved everything that night. it was a little bit challenging, because I eat healthy, and cook in my room, so I had a refrigerator full of groceries for the week. I recognize that I’m old, and go to bed very early, but if there is a rule that quiet time starts at 10, and I played the game and waiting till 10. I believe either Security (which probably wasn’t on site) or law enforcement should have been involved. Even if they’re “a good of guys“ the rest of the Hotel should not suffer for their loud and raucous behavior. The balance of my stay was uneventful, there was some miscommunication when I specifically requested Housekeeping, but other than that, it was a pretty typical stay. The breakfast room is in an odd place for a town place, it was way at the end of a hallway, but was nicely stocked, and a very welcoming woman Managing the food supply. I was told by the general manager, that some points are coming my way, it’s rare that I ask for a specific point amount for service recovery, but I explained that I expected enough to cover a full night at another town place in the future. I’ve chosen to stay at another property next week.

Stayed 3 nights here; July 27-30 . The room was nice and clean with a full kitchen. Both room and kitchen were supplied with all the amenities. The full hot breakfast was good. The front desk girl was the best. She gave me a goodie bag at check-in. Whenever I had a question she was there and greeted me with a smile. Super nice too! Sadly I didn't get her name. I intended to ask at checkout but when I went to the counter, no one showed up. The negatives: the room was right next to a busy highway and the traffic got very noisy at night. Even the super loud AC couldn't drown it out. So bring earplugs. There was no pool or hot tub. I could've used a hot tub after walking to and around the downtown Denver area. Even tho the hotel's name says the "downtown" location, they are not that close to downtown. So don't make the stupid mistake like I did and walk there. I added the 3rd night to extend my stay. I told them I was returning my rental car, so not to charge me for the daily parking fee. They still did. I wanted to discuss this with them when I checked out but like I said earlier, no one came to the counter. Plus I was feeling very ill by this time and just wanted to go home. I didn't know until I got home but I found out I had Covid after taking a home test.
