I read some reviews and was a bit skeptical. I stayed because of the government rate. If you are using the gov rate, they will ask for gov ID. The room was perfectly fine. I could tell the hotel was dated if I looked closely, for example there are some gouges out of the wall in the hallway here and there. My room was perfectly fine and I was quite happy. Service at the desk was prompt and friendly. Find cheaper parking nearby using spothero or something. Syrup a block away is a great breakfast. With the gov rate, I would definitely stay here again.

My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton fell short of expectations, especially considering the brand's reputation. While I understand renovations are underway, the condition of my room was unacceptable. The carpets were damaged, the furniture showed significant wear and tear, and the TV was not functioning. These issues detracted from the luxury experience I anticipated from a Ritz-Carlton property. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of response from management. I requested to speak with them regarding these concerns, but no one contacted me. This lack of attention further diminished my perception of the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Despite using reward points for my stay, I believe my loyalty as a guest should be valued. I hope the ongoing renovations will address these issues and restore the hotel to the high standards associated with the Ritz-Carlton name.

Classic Ritz hospitality with nice, well appointed rooms. Location was prefect for downtown business meetings and restaurants. Nice size room with coffee/tea and a large bathroom. Did not get to use the gym or dine at the restaurant, Elways, Would stay here again.

I had a decent experience at the Ritz Denver, but was overall disappointed with the property. I always stop in Denver when I go skiing, so this was my 3rd visit in the past month. I think I might try the four seasons next time. 1. The Club Lounge is closed. Was offered a F&B credit, but it was not correctly applied at checkout. They should post this before booking. 2. The spa did not have any availability 2 weeks out, and I had booked the spa credit package. 3. The front desk agent, Ashley, was warm at checkin but struggled with the basics. She must be new, because she made my keys to the wrong room at check in and didnât get my billing correct. 4. I booked the Ritz Carleton suite, and was underwhelmed by the welcome gift. A bag of chips and bottle of club soda with a preprinted card is kinda lame. Probably better off not doing anything, lol. Decent place to stay, but donât get your hopes up as they are still working on nailing some of the fundamentals.

UPDATE: I appreciate the follow-up from the concierge to discuss my concerns prior to checkout. Itâs good to know that a renovation is planned, and I truly value their attention to guest feedback. In light of their resolution and the excellent staff and location, I plan to return after the renovation is complete. The staff, particularly Jaden at the front desk and the front drive valets, deliver outstanding serviceâthey deserve five stars. However, there have been a few times doormen and valet are absent for a short period when we go to leave or return. Overall the experience here falls short of the high standards typically associated with the Ritz-Carlton brand due to the rooms. On first glance the room was acceptable, no wow factor, but nothing glaring. Once settled, it was easy to see that the furniture is well-worn and slightly outdated, with stained carpets and room trim that shows signs of possible water damage. Small inconveniences, such as needing to request a second robe, having only two towels provided, and after most of the day away (no privacy sign on door) needing to remind the front desk to service the room, were manageable but unexpected. Additionally, the shower water took an unusually long time to warm up. For Marriott Titanium members, itâs worth noting that upgrades, even when using awards, are unlikely, and there is no acknowledgment of loyalty status. This stay was booked using points and that may be a factor in the subpar room. If your heart is set on a stay here, consider booking at regular rates and not redeeming points. Overall, if youâre seeking a more satisfying experience, consider other Marriott properties in the city centerâor explore options outside this brand family.
