Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Airport

The staff were brilliant and really influenced my perception of the hotel. You can go anywhere and expect high quality accommodation, facilities and cleanliness, but the staff here really took our experience to the next level. They were both friendly, personable and went the extra mile.

Started off by me being out where I was supposed to be for the shuttle. 8:00 pm I was there in the 32 degree rainy, windy weather. The hotel told me that the shuttle would be there at 8:25. 8:25 came and there was no shuttle. I contacted the hotel again and they said I wasn’t out there and I missed the shuttle. I would have to wait for the next one. An hour and a half later after being accused of lying it finally showed. There were only four seats left. I luckily got one. Got to the hotel. The lady behind the desk was flustered by all the business from cancelled flights. She was being rude to everyone. I had already paid, and checked in online but waited my turn. I asked if there would be a discount for waiting outside in the freezing weather and she looked at me and rolled her eyes. I really wanted to slap her. And she said I’m not going to stand here and argue about the shuttle, do you see this line? I kept my composure and finished checking in. Went into my room, flipped the light switch, no lights. I turned on the restroom lights. Walked over and tried the lights above the bed. Only one of them was functional. The molding in the restroom was coming off the wall. The room was just dirty looking. I called it a day and went to sleep. I do not recommend staying there.

Phone recording gave wrong information. No one would answer at the front desk. When I asked about that at check-in, the receptionist was slightly rude in telling me they were too busy. The shuttle is shared by 3 hotels, so it filled before it loaded even half the people waiting for it. We had to pay for a ride share. The room smells “off” in an unpleasant way. The walls are thin - even after midnight it’s noisy. Our room above the entrance can hear the front doors open and close repeatedly. It is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the price is low. So it worked for us to have a place to stay just overnight while we waited to catch our connecting flight. But I would never choose this hotel for any kind of extended stay. Disappointing.

This hotel is very affordable and convenient, if you are traveling from the Denver Airport. The shuttle to-and-from the airport runs hourly, and the staff are very helpful. The hotel is a little dated, but it's very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

First things first, the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was nice, Filimon the driver was really, really nice. Unfortunately, the people from reception, twice gave the wrong information about the bus pick up. I arrived to the hotel and, Sofonyas was at the front desk, he was such a sweetheart and kind. He helped me out with a lot of questions and made my check-in so welcoming. And also, he heard which room preference i desired. Near the hotel, there’s a 50’s themed diner, which, milkshakes, are the bomb!!! The room, for myself, was big and nice, the bed was super comfy, the bathroom is algo big so as the shower. Bit noisy, cause other guests, need to leave. I didn’t had breakfast, i preferred to sleep. I stayed the night cause, i needed to catch up a flight, so I asked Blanca at the front desk about the late check out and, she kindly help me out. For the bus shuttle to the airport, unfortunately, they didn’t respect the time which i reserved a day before. When i asked about it, they told me the streets were closed due construction, which i totally understand, but i organized myself to be on time for the shuttle… Its all about respect and organization. Well, i’ll rate my stay 8/10. Eventhough, i’m so grateful for all the help <3
