Very expensive, poor service. The valet has taken the pull over area at entrance so you must valet or there is no unloading area. Front desk was surly and too busy with his mobile to greet guests. Worst coffee I've ever had in a Hampton Inn, after waiting for it to be replenished on multiple attempts. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Otherwise, not worthy of the hotel brand name.

Disrepair significant. Sept 2024- Business Trip-8 days: 1) 1 of 4 elevators working (2 on each side of hotel) meant a line of business people waiting to descend in the morning. Stairway down not an option because lobby & basement doors inbound were locked - getting out at sub-basement required a hike across the garage & out into a garbage-laden and homeless tent alley at the back of the hotel. 2) Room furniture dented, busted or shabby 3) Room phone not working & not repaired after reported 4) Ice maker & its shrill warning siren not repaired after reported 5) Housekeeping unpredictable even taking their every other day policy into consideration. 6) Faucet in need of maintenance - difficult to turn off Plus side - 1) within easy walking distance of Colorado Campfire & other restaurants; The Molly Brown House Museum and other historic downtown sites. 2) bed reasonably comfortable 3) hot water available in the morning

Very nice and comfortable rooms and bed at the Hampton Inn in Denver. Room was also a good size. Good shower and other room amenities. Breakfast was okay - lots on offer which is always a plus. Sometimes you have to wait a little while for the lift to arrive.

This is an average Hampton Inn in the US. Offerings and rooms are highly standardized. Location is OK although not very walkable and rather barren. The only reason to stay here is if trying to save money or if you book your hotel last minute and hotel prices in the city are all through the rood.

We stayed at 3 Hampton Inns during our recent trip to the Midwest US. This one landed at the bottom of the list for a number of reasons: The dining area is quite small in relation to the size of the hotel, making it difficult to find a table. In addition, the breakfast offerings were not as varied as the other hotels. Both elevators were slow and one was inoperable during our stay. The walls are paper thin, resulting in significant noise transfer between rooms which is quite frustrating at 230am. Lastly, although I called the hotel the week before arrival to request an early check in, when we arrived at approximately 830am I was advised in no uncertain terms by the front desk staff member that this could not be accommodated as the hotel was at full capacity. I indicated that I would be willing to take a smaller/less expensive room type should one become available earlier in the day. After waiting in the lobby for almost three hours, a party of three arrived and were immediately offered an early check-in. After this group left the front desk, I approached both employees and politely pointed out what I’d just witnessed and that I’d been patiently waiting for a room. They said that they would check and see and see if another room was available. After returning to my seat in the lobby, I clearly heard these individuals talking about my complaint, but I pretended to ignore them and within 10 minutes a room (similar to one I’d booked) became available. I realize that dealing with the public is difficult at times, but behaviour such as this is unprofessional. I’ll choose to stay elsewhere in Denver should I return.
