The most horrendous stay that I have ever experienced at a hotel. My daughter and I checked in and stayed for three nights. Not only did the amounts increase from my original booking rate, but I was also fraudulently charged a $150 "deposit" that I was told before leaving would not actually be processed on my card - this was false. Our room was dirty from the time we checked in. Walls, bedding, and furniture had brown and red scuffs, marks, dirt, and who knows what else on them. Dead bugs were on the floor in the main room and bathroom. The TV did not work, the fridge did not work, and there were dogs barking throughout the evenings. Our room was not cleaned for the entirety of our stay. When approaching the desk to replenish basic necessities such as toilet paper or towels, we were told to submit a request or "walk to Target." The first night of our stay, there were homeless people sleeping in the entryway and in the lobby. On the second day, my daughter and I could not enter the main door due to an altercation with police. I have tried to submit a review with photos several times, but it keeps getting deleted. We were never greeted, helped, or provided with basic needs during our booking. Cannot say enough negative things about our experience. I felt unclean and unsafe for the entirety of our stay.

The hotel has its pros and cons. While it’s dog-friendly, which is a big plus for pet owners, the property itself feels outdated and could use some upgrades. The breakfast was just okay—not bad, but nothing to rave about. The beds were on the smaller side, which might not be ideal for taller or larger guests. One of the highlights is its location, as it’s close to several restaurants, making dining options convenient. Overall, it’s an average stay. If you’re traveling with a dog and need a place close to amenities, it’s worth considering, but don’t expect too much in terms of comfort or modern features.

Horrible experience, we stayed here because it was an awful experience we stayed here because we did not have a choice was late , and highway 25 was closed for serveral hours due to crash earlier in the day, we booked this place, the advertisement said they had doble beds was not true, the place is disgusting, carpet beds, are filthy smells like cigarettes and trash the elevator smelled like poop, and we decided to take the stairs and it was a person from the street sleeping on the stairs, the hotel seemed to welcome all the street people felt very unsafe, I do not recommend this place to anyone, I think la Quinta hotels should shout down this location because it seems that is not for tourist is for homeless people, even at breakfast we saw a homeless person packing all the food in a bag, were about 5 homeless sleeping in the hotel.

I was charged a deposit fee upon checkin being told it would be refunded upon checkout. We left the room in great condition. I am being charged for smoking and was told they have sensors in their detectors that sense what time visitors smoke. I am not a smoker and was with family. Beware you will not be getting the room deposit back even if you follow the rules.

We stayed here in March 2024 and decided to stay again this trip. BAD DECISION! What was an out dated but comfortable hotel is now a DUMP! See my photos for the dirt and general filth. Wi-Fi is sad, at best. Window in room was open when we arrived, 25° outside. Heater is noisy and filthy. At 2:30am the the party next door kicked in and more smoke smell filled the room of our 100% Non-Smoking hotel. Front desk said they would address the smoking after 9:00am. They offered to let us move to a different room. Why should WE pack up and move? WE weren’t the ones smoking and partying. BUT pack up we did…and moved to the Fairfield next door. Only $15/night more and worth every penny.
