Stay Wise Inn Cedaredge

My husband and I stayed here and it was just an amazing experience from the start. Joya checked us in and was so friendly and offered chocolate chip cookies and popcorn that was in the lobby! The room was very clean and comfortable, loved the indoor hot tub and pool, and then a wonderful omelette the next morning with Melinda! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing thru the lovely town of Cedaredge!

We stayed at this hotel decades ago when it was a new. For the age of the hotel it is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast was good, Belgian waffles and made to order omelettes. The downside is the linens are old as well as our bed, it sloped to the middle!

When we arrived for our reservation at 3:15pm, no one was available at the front desk, no answer to our calling out loudly, no bell to ring, phone not working at front desk to call for assist. I had to wander the halls to find someone to check us in. Room was not clean. Wads of dust mice and hair were on the floor. Food crumbs scattered on the floor. Toilet paper was nearly out with no extra rolls in sight and kleenex box was empty. The outdoor seating at the front door looked like the seats were ready to break if someone sat on them. Breakfast was very skimpy. If you had the time to wait, one overworked cook would take your order for an omelet and then cook them one at a time for each of the guests. There was very little selection of other breakfast food. Not even yogurt available. This place was way overpriced for what little they provide!

Older property, new owners. They are doing a good job with what they were given. Clean, courteous, etc. The breakfasts omelettes were tasty and prepared to order. There was a person in the breakfast area being very loud on the phone. Very intrusive. When I asked her to leave, she did and it was quiet and comfortable again. I would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Marvelous breakfast including made to order omelette. Very nice hot tub and indoor pool. Property is clean. Rooms are small. Older carpet. But a great price for a quiet relaxing stay. Horseshoe pit out back. Deer come up to fence some mornings. Good location for bike riding Colorado Monument and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Ride Hwy 92. It’s a must
