Days Inn by Wyndham Carbondale

Great stay, clean rooms, good breakfast and nice pool and hot tub. All you need. Friendly staff and good check in check out. Rooms were average size. Hotel layout is a bit weird which is why it's not a 5 out of 5 but rather 4 out of 5. Other then that perfect.

When you are on business and work 8 hours and don’t have any contact with staff because you just go to your room to rest and leave again. It’s nice to see how the staff keeps things tidy in your room. On the bathroom I had my personal hygiene items just laying all over the sink area. Mary ( maid ) went and laid everything a hand towel down and put my stuff on top in an orderly fashion. She made me feel like I mattered. It was just a nice touch which I noticed. The hotel is clean and the rest of the staff was great to interact with when I needed something. It’s nice to find a hotel that cares for the guests and not just the monetary value. Thanks for the experience

I stayed here on short notice and I found the hotel price to be a reasonable price and with that you sometimes get a less great experience but not at all this hotel was very clean and quiet the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. It’s in a good location. I was on the river side so I had the window open and could enjoy the sounds of the river during the night while I slept. The room was very clean and well kept. The 2 desk clerks that were on duty when I checked in and checked out were very good and helpful and knew about the town. Next time I am in Carbondale this is the hotel I will be staying in. That j you.

The location is great but it’s therefore also VERY noisy. I thought the room was clean and that mattered most. The service was decent and so was the breakfast. For the value I thought it was ok. It depends on what you want to stay there for ? Quick layover ? Or vacation hop ?
