Nicely appointed rooms, very comfortable, king-size bed, nice sheets, soft and absorbent towels, updated bathroom with excellent shower. Very good continental breakfast, including cereal, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, fresh fruit, and toast. Hotel is located off the freeway, so there was no traffic noise. Friendly and efficient staff.

Despite all the construction going on nearby which made it a little difficult to enter, and enjoy anything surrounding it, andsince it was just a stop on my roadtrip, it was all I needed: a clean room, good internet, friendly service. Would like to stay longer and explore the area, but destiny was calling me.....

The room was excellent and the staff were wonderful. Great location far enough from the freeway so you don't hear the cars, but close enough to get on in less than a minute.

Prices were decent. Room was large and some upgrades have been made, floors, restroom. However, bed was hard as a rock, pillows were definitely old. The couch disgusting, old and dirty. The paint colors, my God a child picked out. Mint green with a vibrant turquoise. It just didn't match and wasn't relaxing. In all, with a new bed, couch and some warmer colors it would be very nice and I'd stay again as the staff was friendly and it was quiet.

After reading reviews of so many other hotels/motels in Yreka that had enough reviews from people who had reservations about wholeheartedly recommending them, I saw just 8 reviews of this motel and they were all very good. So, we decided to take a chance. We were not disappointed. We are pretty sure the room had been recently renovate and all furnishing, bedding, towels, frig and microwave were all in excellent condition. The room is not carpeted which means it is very easy for them to keep it clean. In fact, I put my yoga mat on the floor in the morning and could not even see a speck of dust under the bed. Our room was closest to but not next to the office (Room 104?) The office has exterior lighting at night which did not shine into the room too much because the curtains were blackout curtains and hung perfectly so they did not open up in the middle when you closed them. However, if you prefer a darker area, I would suggest you request a room in the darker part of the motel. The check in staff was very kind and efficient as was the morning staff when we ate breakfast and checked out. The breakfast included cooked oatmeal, make-your-own waffles, some yogurts, a toaster with various breads, some fresh fruits, good coffee, tea, etc. The breakfast room was very clean. Lastly, there is a great parking lot with plenty of room for you to park near your room and a number of large spots in the middle for tractor trailer trucks. This hotel should definitely be on the Big Rig TripAdvisor website if there is one.
