Best Western was full and this Rodeway Inn was so cheap I decided to give it a try. Now I know why they say you get what you pay for. When I arrived the location and people hanging out here made me feel unsafe but I already booked the room. Inside the room everything was dirty/grungy. It was 108° outside at 10pm and after turning the AC on it didn't feel comfortable in the room until the next morning. The floors and walls had dirt stains, there was dead bugs on floor and in the tub. The toilet didn't flush, the AC worked but was literally falling apart (outside covering hanging/broken) The toilet bowl, seat and the tub were stained. The paint was peeling. Burning hot showers dont have cold water we were forced to rinse off and get out ASAP! No electric outlets so I had to go to Walmart to buy an extension cord to charge my phone and unplug the TV to plug in the extension cord. The laundry room was out of service, the ice machine was broken, no coffee or microwave in rooms. Tried to call front desk when toilet wouldn't flush but phone didn't work. No dial tone as if it wasn't even plugged in. Had to use my cell phone. At 3:30 am we woke up from hearing people yelling and cursing. Tried to get a few mins late check out was told it's a $50.00 charge. This place was definitely not worth the $80. It's mind boggling how much more you get for $30 more at Best Western Plus.

Outside looks very nice, inside another story. Key card did not work (Room 119), so they brought us a card for the room next door. That room had a non working fridge, (room 120) needed for meds. He came back with a new card and put us in original room. The old, blond furniture had to be from the 50's. It appeared clean but really beat up. The mattress was actually comfortable, but with the way the rest of the room was, we felt a little leery of it. The bathroom and vanity area actually appeared to be new. The thresh hold on the floor of the doorway was dangerously bent up and caught our foot several times. The whole HVAC unit under the window worked but the framework was all broken apart! The only place to sit, other than on the bed was on one of those thin plastic scoop hard chairs from the 70's! The chair was set at a scratched curved piece of old kitchen countertop. No way to really relax. No coffee in room or in office. (Claimed a storm and wrecked their coffee machine???) The room was large No additional toilet paper in room only a small amount on roll in room. Had to walk to office to get an additional roll. In morning when we were about to load up and leave we heard sirens and found a hook and ladder truck parked behind our vehicle and an ambulance. They were on the second floor with an apparent "medical emergency"! Appeared to be drug issues and the paramedics left with out taking anyone. No smoke or fire involved The man at the front desk for check in was polite and professional with his customer service. He was behind a plastic wall the locked out admission to the front lobby. This place really needed to be totally remodeled and in no way should have cost $121.00, From the people walking around the area it appeared that it may have been in a known drug neighborhood, or at least the clientele were. The grounds were well manicured and clean.

I rarely write reviews but this Motel 6 was particular bad. I stayed here this past weekend. First, it was a smoking room. I didn’t know hotels still had smoking rooms. It was late, and I was just staying for one night. Next, I killed four little annoying flies that were in the room, Next, the floor was all sticky. I could go on but you get the point. I usually camp as my lodging preference so I am really not that picky. I was in the area for a conference and the next day my suit smelled like smoke. The t-shirt I slept in smelled like smoke until I got back home and washed it. I had not stayed in a Motel 6 in a while and thought they had moved upscale since their prices are much higher now. But this particular Motel 6 was really bad.

i stayed at this hotel back in April 2018 and suffered a fall in the shower where i ended up in the ER with broken ribs. the shower did not have any safety handles nor any non slip features. and is not up to current code. i checked. i asked the manager if he had contacted G6 Hospitality and he confirmed that he had. i never heard from them? i contacted G6 Hospitality and they said that they had never heard of the incident nor where they contacted by the manager regarding my injuries.
