Amazing staff experience! Friendly, courteous, efficient and professional. The hotel itself is very old and used-up. However, some renovation construction was ongoing during or stay. The room we had was serviceable...just! The carpeting was really yucky. The fixtures were minimal and tired. The whole place is in need of new paint and new floors. Terrible electrical outlet availability for devices. The breakfast muffins and protein offerings were typically stale. We found the part of the hotel we stayed in was quiet. The parking was free and convenient. Great location in Newbury Park, CA. . Super accessible, near great shopping and dining options.

This makes Motel 6 look like a resort. The room didn't have a house phone. One of the lamps didn't work. The clock didn't work. The room was a small box. The breakfast was disgusting. The reception said they couldn't address any of these issues because they didn't have a maintenance person. I asked corporate to refund my money, but thus far, no one has gotten back to me. I would have been happier sitting on the corner and sleep on the sidewalk. Seriously this was that bad. If any person could get back to me, in corporate, that would be amazing. I am not holding my breath. I will go on social media to post this. Social media is a nasty thing , I've worked in marketing all of my career. Nothing is so damaging than a bad review.

My wife and I checked in on Jan 8, during the LA fires, for 2 nights. The check-in was done manually because the internet service was intermittent. The room was decrepit, and neighboring guests were very noisy with pets running in the hallways. We checked out the next morning instead of staying the second night. The check-out was done manually. We were told that our credit card would be refunded for the night not used. I called the hotel several times to remind them about the refund with no response. We still do not have a refund.

The hotel was under construction and it was difficult to find the lobby at first. Then the room had broken curtains, carpet tacks poking through near the window, a broken desk lamp, and horrible water pressure in the shower. This place was not worth the money.

Older hotel with deferred maintenance issues. Looks like they are working on it, but not in the room they booked me in. No means of operating TV. - Remote mismatched to TV Tub faucet leaking (est. 20 to 30 gallons a day, and hard to miss the splashing when trying to sleep. Tub has significant rust stains from nonstop, water leakage. Dangerous for bare feet. No operating vent in the bathroom - no air exchange. Lamp switch on left bed side broken so use the right side if you want to read in bed. No charge stations. Missing curtain pull rod. Room thermostat not connected to HVAC.
