Our stay at the Residence Inn in Stockton, CA was fantastic! From check-in to check-out, everything exceeded our expectations. First off, Isadora, the general manager at the front desk, was incredibly nice and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away. Customer service like that really makes a difference! The jacuzzi was a must-have after a long day—it was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for easing sore muscles. The free parking was another great perk, making it easy to come and go without any hassle. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast buffet. It was well-stocked and changed daily, keeping things interesting. We enjoyed breakfast burritos one morning and quiche another day. The fresh waffle maker was an awesome touch! The rooms were thoughtfully designed for their size, offering plenty of comfort and soundproofing, which made for a peaceful night’s rest. The kitchenette was super convenient for nights when we didn’t feel like going out to eat. A unique feature we loved was the rotating TV, allowing us to watch from either the bed or the couch. The spacious desk was also a big plus, making it easy to get some work done. For those who like to stay active, the fitness center was well-equipped with ellipticals, treadmills, a bike machine, and even free weights. It had everything needed for a solid workout. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would absolutely return! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped hotel in Stockton, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

I’m a member with marriot and I’m always traveling to different cities and states and I’ve never had an issue with a reservation. Not with the payment, not with noise complaints, nothing at all. EVER. Today I tried to check in to my reservation and was denied. I’ve been traveling all day and made the reservation with the same card I keep on file and the woman said I could not check in. I’ve always been able to check in with a Mastercard with no issues and when I called customer service they let me know they accept ALL visas & Mastercards. The woman was rude and I was honestly embarrassed above all else. I said thank you, took my belonging and walked out immediately. I’d never treat anyone like that, I’m a problem solver my first thought would to check to resolve it rather than embarrassing a person who has never had issues at any Marriot location. Disappointed.

All the staff were very friendly and efficient . We were there for medical appts not vacation. Nice surroundings and away from the busy freeway and downtown. Will definitely use this hotel again. Breakfast was ok but breakfast area was clean and comfortable

Off of Interstate 5, this hotel is just 4 miles from downtown. Its location is beautiful, and just one mile down a tree-lined street to the marina and a jogging path along the water. There is a beautiful enclosed courtyard where one can have coffee or just enjoy the outdoors. The front desk staff is friendly and really aims to please. Housekeeping was everyday (so nice) even though the website says every other day. I wanted to give this place a 5-star review, but the breakfast person after the first two days was not warm and and helpful. The first two days, we had a wonderful, cheery lady that came over from the Courtyard next door. She made you feel welcomed, and I wanted to come to breakfast. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted or needed. She took pride in her work and presentation (oranges and ice in the water carafe), lots of fresh fruit salad - all the way to the end of breakfast. And, the breakfast area was spotless and inviting. Saturday, this lady had left and the "normal" person did breakfast. She was grumpy and unsmiling. We asked for fruit salad for two days, and she said there was none - even though we could see melons sitting on the counter. She brought out a big plastic bowl full of scrambled eggs and just scooped them to refill the nice silver dish. I mean, sure, we know the eggs aren't fried fresh, but how difficult would it be to bring a silver serving dish out already filled up and replace it with the empty one. The water carafe was just that - no ice and no sliced fruit. I asked her how she was doing, being friendly, and she said "I'll be better in an hour when I'm off." And, management came to talk to her and she raised her voice and started griping. Management nicely reminded her that guests were around, and she lowered her voice." No matter, this person needs an attitude adjustment. The best person to train her would be the wonderful lady from the Courtyard restaurant, who was an absolute joy.

I really like this hotel - I've been here several times -- the two people who checked us in, both DeeDee and Lizette, were wonderful - friendly, helpful and efficient! We had a one bedroom and had plenty of space to enjoy -- the only downside is that the air conditioning/heating system was pretty loud where we were located -- we turned our unit off at night so we didn't have to hear it but because we were on the second floor, we had to listen to the noise from the unit on top of us -- that was the only downside for us - the parking was really close to our room, the breakfast totally acceptable --
