Station House Inn Near Heavenly Gondola

Charming and Cozy Stay at Station House Inn – Perfect for a Lake Tahoe Getaway! We had an amazing stay at Station House Inn in Lake Tahoe! This charming hotel is in the perfect location—just a short walk to Heavenly Village, the beach, and the lake—making it an ideal spot whether you’re visiting for skiing or a summer escape. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and super comfortable. We especially appreciated the designated space for hanging jackets and snow suits, which made organizing our winter gear so much easier. After a day on the slopes, it was great to come back to such a cozy and well-equipped room. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the inviting lobby. It’s the perfect place to relax, play board games, and warm up by the fire—exactly what you want after a chilly day outside. Plus, the welcome drink was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, Station House Inn is a gem in South Lake Tahoe. It has the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and convenience. We can’t wait to return!

Me and the Wife stay at this hotel every time we come to Tahoe. The staff is fantastic and really take care of the guest. Aleksei is the GM and he was a pleasure to deal with. Took care of our needs. The restaurant on campus is amazing as well!! Definitely recommended the Brussels sprouts or wings

It is a great place with quick access to Gondola and lake. The place looked clean and modern. A lot of hangers was helpful to hang ski suit and gloves. The front desk looked cozy with coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn. TV was pretty antique with only cable. Hot tub was open dueing Dec. It was small but nice - they offer swim towels.

We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, and nicely decorated. Walkable to lake, casinos, and gondola. Wish the restaurant would have been open during our stay. Will definitely stay here again to avoid staying with my family at cabin.

We only stayed one night here, but it was a good experience. Check in went smoothly. The staff we interacted with were friendly, efficient, and professional. Our room was styled in a rustic fashion which we liked. All the basics are in place. The TV was just OK, with all the channels one could hope for once we figured out the channel numbering system. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and the shower was good, other than I don't care for the shower enclosure style that doesn't have a door. Free, good coffee and snacks are available in the morning.
