Booking this location was a mistake on my part. Hereâs the rundown. Iâm not exaggeratingâplease trust me if the owner responds. To start, this place is conveniently located, and parking was manageable. The motel owns adjacent buildings, so we were told to park anywhere. We managed to park near our room, which I assume was possible because it wasnât busy. So far, so goodâuntil we noticed the courtyard pool was shut down and covered. Even though it was late in the season, the area around the pool looked dirty and neglected. That was the first red flag. The second? The entire building is old, wooden, and clearly in need of an update. Inside the room, it was clean, but only just acceptable. It was basic, old, and really in need of refreshing, just like the rest of the property. Since we were only there for one night, we let it slide. However, at 11:30 p.m., we were jolted awake by an incredibly loud party in the room above us. The stairs to the second floor were just outside our door, and we heard loud stomping up and down all night. Being an old wooden structure, the noise traveled as if it was amplifiedâconstant banging and thumping that made it impossible to sleep. It sounded like they had 10 or more people up there, and the talking and laughter were non-stop. This continued until around 3:00 a.m. when the party started to quiet down, only for us to then hear even more noise from the bed above. Only this time is was a steady thumping rhythm. At least someone was having a good time. We would have pounded on the ceiling if we could have reached it, but given how loud and rowdy it was, we didnât want to risk escalating things. Especially with the amount of guns everywhere. Apologies for the lack of photosâwe were just eager to leave as soon as possible. My advice? Find somewhere else to stay. There are plenty of other options in the area. Consider yourself warned!

We were here only for the night. The room was clean room, we had hot water, and an overall good experience for the cheap price. The location is very convenient. They are flexible with the check-in time and have plenty of parking available. I would recommend of you're just looking for a place to crash.

Second time I've stayed here. Rooms are nice and clean, good bedding, quick hot water. A lot of repairs to be made on the exterior (new paint, etc). What I like most is a great location... Next door to Base Camp, which costs much more, and a short stroll from Harrahs/Harveys, Margaritaville Resort and Heavenly Village. It will continue to be my go-to when traveling by myself to South Shore Tahoe. Pls know there are two adjacent properties under same management - Alpine Inn and Cedar House. Alpine is superior IMO.
