check in process very professional and allowed us to look at room before booking which was appreciated. Rooms clean and good toiletries - genius make up remover pad which had not had before. Pool area really clean. On main road so obviously some noise but air con made some so drowned out if keep that on. Breakfast included and impressed and best range and choice all holiday and again very professional and amiable staff on again.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were visiting Yosemite and it is approximately an hours drive from the national park. It is very easy to find in downtown Sonora and there is ample free parking. The rooms are huge, very comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is very good but our 1 small gripe is that the breakfast room is way too small for the number of guests staying at the hotel.

The rooms are well equipped and comfortable but much too noisy. Air conditioning which is much needed this year is much too noisy to be usable while sleeping. The buildings are also not properly insulated, probably because of cheap construction, like often in budget hotels in North America. However, at $150 a night because of the proximity to Yosemite, that is not a budget hotel! As a consequence, you hear the people in the rooms above and outside traffic noise. The breakfast is all right. The reception staff was not very friendly and welcoming, at least less than usual in hotels in North America.

We were only there one night but had a great stay! The room was clean and well-equipped. A lot of places skimp on the small stuff these days, but I appreciated things like makeup wipes in the bathroom, ice bucket, coffee maker etc. It had everything we needed and felt safe/comfortable. The breakfast that's included was great, lots of tasty options (biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, bagels etc). It was nice to enjoy a full hearty breakfast without having to pay to eat out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If coming to Sonora I would definitely stay again!
