Vinland Hotel and Lounge

It was our first time staying at Vinland. Amazing and pleasant experience! We reserved three rooms for two nights and had a great time! Fantastic location! Staff members were friendly and accommodating. The complimentary coffee bar was the best!

Comfortable and accommodating boutique hotel right in square of activities. Great service and staff. Loved that free parking was included. The breakfast perk for the local bakery was also good. They also have a nice happy hour in the lounge daily.

Great place to stay. enjoyed the town, The patio was great. Would have enjoyed a couple;e of comfortable chairs in the room, but we did enjoy the chairs in the bar. The couch was nice in the front of the hotel but was usually full. Coffee in lobby was a nice touch.

Well located at the end of the main drag in Solvang, the hotel was only a 10-15 minute walk from the Mission/other side of town. Seems to have gone through a relatively recent remodel. They were still re-roofing the building we stayed in, but it didn't lessen our time at all. Very friendly staff. Comfy beds. Nice products. Room came with a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Clean. Modern refacing looks good. On site free parking under the buildings was convenient. 2 drawbacks: the wifi dropped out over and over. It's hard to get a cell signal in much of the town and valley, so this was frustrating, and hopefully will be addressed. Secondly, you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway (and thus, probably vice versa) due to the metal doors. It didn't bother us, but there were several rooms that checked in Saturday night for a party, and rolled back to their rooms around 1AM to continue their night. You could easily hear everything. WE did not narc on them, but someone did, and the front desk was polite and attentive asking them to quiet down. All of this is to say if you are a light sleeper staying during the weekend in season, you may want earplugs. Otherwise, a lovely time, and would recommend.

pillows weren't comfort enough for me. bed was nice but blanket wasn't thick and fluffy enough for me and i felt cold. the heater made a strange noise but it did work nice. was expecting robes in the room but was told i had to ask for them if i wanted to use them..
