The Sea Ranch Lodge

Sea Ranch Lodge is beautiful. Location can’t be beat. And the restaurant and bar are great. Everyone is so friendly and laid back here. I also really enjoyed the gas fireplace in the room and the fact that each room has an ocean view. Hiking trails are abundant and uncrowded.

This was our first stay after the place has changed owner and was renovated. The rooms have really received a wonderful clean-up and are as gorgeous as ever. There is nothing like staring at the ocean from the bay windows in the room. But the service is really disorganized in the lodge and needs professional management. During dinner our appetizers appeared promptly, but the main course took another one and a quarter hour. We had to go and look for the manager to ask about our food. When he finally came by he said he would check in with us later, which never happened. Don't book the room option with breakfast. Breakfast is very limited. It is just a coffee shop with very limited choices, several of which were not available during our stay. They were out of yoghurt so could not make a parfait. They also refused to provide eggs as they "had to be saved" for some other options. This happened two mornings in a row. Active management would have just gone to the supermarket and bought more eggs and yoghurt. We felt particularly cheated since we booked the room WITH breakfast assuming it would be breakfast in the restaurant.

I was here on business for a few days. A beautiful and quiet place to work remotely. I loved the bartenders and the dining room at night. My room was very quiet and the wifi was good. I was able to get service when I needed without being bothered by housekeeping on days that I didnt need service. Overall, lovely experience.

With its peaceful atmosphere and scenic surroundings, it’s the perfect spot to inspire creativity and reflection. However, the remote location might not be for those seeking urban amenities.

From the moment Erica in Guest services/reservation answered the phone she was so accommodating ! I was changing my reservation. She was patient and lovely. This was our first time at Sea Ranch lodge and it was amazing! The property is magical, and the ethos of tuning into nature brings balance back to the visitor. You can feel the history of the reverence for nature all around. No TV in the room, yeh! Dreamy beds and bedding. The views of the majestic dramatic coast line are incomparable! The trails take you along the coasts breathtaking views. It all puts you in a state of tranquility and gratitude. Every single staff member was so lovely. The bartender Trace is a true mixologist, engaging person and just lovely. We were celebrating some good news and this enhanced our experience around it beyond words! Thank you all at Sea Ranch Lodge! We will be making an annual trip to see you again and again! Monica
