La Quinta Inn & Suites Santa Rosa Sonoma

Clean, looked new, pleasant and soothing design, helpful, friendly staff. Quiet, nice breakfast. Wifi was not dependable but not a problem for us and we were in the last room by the back door. Felt secure. We would recommend staying closer to the desk if WiFi is essential.

We have always enjoyed our stays at La Quinta properties. However, this one was a disappointment. Not a good location for us, just off the 101--not very walkable. Staff was friendly, and the bed was comfy but amenities were lacking for us. Hot tub was always full of little kids, the cool looking bar area was (permanently?) closed. No glassware was available for use in our room, only the lightweight plastic cups. The ice machine wasn't working. The breakfast was nice and kept well stocked, so we appreciated that. Overall, we were disappointed and will not stay at this location again.

Super comfy beds, lovely well - appointed bathroom, nice little kitchenette with coffee, microwave and fridge. I enjoyed scrumptious breakfast options with snack choices to take back to the room for later. Greeted by professional friendly staff. And... the cable TV was expansive--great entertainment for the stormy nights I spent there during 2 days at the Sonoma North Bay Home Expo as exhibitor support staff.

You ever want to feel like you're home away from home, then check out La Quinta in Santa Rosa. It was amazing and my kids had the best time. it's located right across from a shopping center so there ya go. There's a pool, hot tub and firepit. Great night with the kids and friends

Pros - Clean, new property, amazing free breakfast, Deluxe rooms, pet friendly Cons - Highway noise, confusing environment control, parking fees Although my wife and I are close enough to Sonoma wine country for a day trip, we like to extend our stay, and choose La Quinta Santa Rosa. The property rises to the occasion with clean interior/exterior, a nice courtyard with pool and grass, deluxe rooms with balconies and the amazing free breakfast. Now, the drawback is the traffic noise - all the time. Rooms with balconies are located on the 4th floor and face the highway. Why? But the view through the window of western sky and rolling hills lessens the annoyance. Once settled you will need to figure out the environment control. Google "samsung DB98-33083B-00" for videos. It might be as simple as opening the cover and selecting the mode (Auto-Cool-Clean-Fan-Heat) and adjusting the temp. Same goes for the TV service: we eventually found the guide, and got to see our favorite local channels. I suppose the one complaint I have is the parking fee of $10/car/night. This is not an urban area, with premium parking, and being next to a light industrial plaza, the hotel doesn't bring in unwanted "guests".
