Bay Front Inn Santa Cruz

Room was good, but no wifi available in the room I was put in. I ended up hotspotting from my phone. Room is close to the boardwalk, and the price was right. Parking is very limited. You may have to street park or park in the parking lot close by. Expect the extra expense if you don't get there early.

Honestly this hotel ought to be ashamed charging people to stay here and not providing a place to park, yes its so true. I couldn't believe I had to wait for some poor sucker to pull out so I could park. The lady at the front desk said there is metered parking on the street. When we got back from dinner the parking lot was full and the street was full as well. The office was closed. My poor niece was crying she felt so bad for me. I also had my dog with me which I paid extra for. I finally ended up parking illegally and was not able to sleep well I was worried I was going to get towed. Every time I heard a truck I'd jump up and look out the window to be sure I was not getting towed. i will try to get a refund for my $200.00 dumpy dirty room, a toilet plunger was next to the toilet, no stand or anything for it. The parking was the worst, isnt that fraud and illegal? It said free parking on the website. Do not stay here, its worth another 25.00 to stay somewhere decent.

The sheets had stains on them but other then that wasn’t a bad stay. The room was small and only a bed no chairs it or anything like that, it did have a mini fridge and microwave. Enjoyed our one night stay, for the price and location I would stay there again.

This is not my first stay but I cannot imagine returning or recommending Bay Front Inn. The entrance to the room was very unwelcoming, a little scary TV remote didn’t work Microwave was gross In room Krups machine didn’t work No house cleaning Blow dryer not mounted. It was just laying next to sink. Window adjacent to head of bed let the morning sun shine in Shower head had to be handheld because it stopped staying up on its own No parking available when returning to room at night Even the Krups machine in Lobby wasn’t available to use. I went to the lobby both mornings to discuss our dissatisfaction with the room and was assured the manager would contact me within 2 days. It’s been 10 days. No call.

This motel does not have enough parking spaces, you might have to park on the street with meters or pay at a parking lot that is dark and has no security. I didn't like leaving my car there. I just prayed that my car was still there and wasn't stolen or broken into.
