Dangerous place. Weirdos that talk to themselves walk the halls trying the doors at night. No security. nutcases asking me or drugs...I am a 60 yr old man and I had to load my 44 to feel safe. I I had to pick up a guy in the parking lot that fell out of his wheelchair because no one else would...WTF

Would give this dive negative stars if that were possible. Before I say why, you need to know that I am a huge fan of Motel 6 for the value they provide for the money. This is the 5th Motel 6 we have stayed at in this trip, and I have no complaints until now. To begin, at check-in, they make you sign a declaration that you will not consume alcohol or make noise after 10 p.m. That should have tipped us off, but we’re old and not as sharp as we used to be, evidently. Around 3 a.m. we awoke to loud music, shouting, and foul language from what sounded like a large group of men and women. This continues as I write, at 7:45 a.m. When my companion inquired at the desk just now, he was told that the offenders had been thrown out after three warnings. They are still here, still making a racket. Avoid this one. The rooms are fine for the price, but the clientele is something else.

This is a dangerous hotel for business travelers. Both days of my stay at 7am I was stopped at my car by many homeless people asking to stay in my room while I was gone. When I refused they started kicking the sides of my rental car. I reported this to the front desk both immediately and at checkout. The hotel staff told me this is “typical next to a big city like San Fran especially for women traveling alone”. I often travel alone to NYC, Los Angeles, DC, Tokyo and many locations in Europe without any problems as threatening as these incidents. Additionally, the hotel has many loud parties and fighting at night. Not worth spending one penny on this hotel!

I needed a hotel fairly last minute and almost nothing else was available, I'm understanding why now. I keep hoping for a better Motel 6 experience with the 'remodels' and such. I checked in late at night though a mirrored glass window. I got into my room and the first thing I noticed was a long black hair on the towel. But, things happen to I just kept getting ready for bed. It was cold outside (41F) and cold inside the room. I turned on the heater which was so close to one of the beds I had to crawl onto it to turn on the heater. I thought it was odd the heater was set at 80F so I turned it down to 72F since I was a bit under the weather with a cough. About 15 minutes later it wasn't getting warmer so I turned the heater up to 75F, still blowing COLD air. In the end the heater wasn't working which is why someone had turned it up to the max of 80F. I phoned the front desk and was informed the only thing that could do was move me to a smoking room (didn't know those existed in CA) and I declined. I stripped all the bedding off the other bed. I survived. But I won't be back to this hotel and I keep getting further and further from Motel 6.

It was an easy check in with friendly staff. The room was neat and clean, just perfect for me. I got a good nights sleep and staff helped direct me to places around the area, which was very helpful because my family I was visiting gave bad directions.
