Villa Inn

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Villa Inn. We had a great experience and would definitely go back. We felt safe in the area. The Inn was a short drive to San Francisco and lots of beautiful natural areas for hiking and exploration. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby and Whole Foods/ Trader Joe's. Our room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet and we slept great. Our room was very spacious. We stayed in room 71. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, bananas and bagels and cream cheese and muffins which was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

We stayed at the Villa Inn for a week while visiting family in the area. It's conveniently located to the freeway. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room was located right at the top of the stairs but was not noisy surprisingly. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the continental breakfast was the same everyday. I don't expect much but a little variety would've been nice. Cafe Villa, which is attached to the motel, serves delicious Italian food. I highly recommend the spinach ravioli.

Spent one night. The location is quiet, but the walls are very thin, and one can hear conversations in the other rooms. Fortunately it quieted down after hours. The room was attractive, spacious and clean, with comfortable bed and pillows. Room amenities included refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Plenty of conveniently located power jacks. Shower with excellent water pressure, but the drain was clogged (not with hair or anything that I could remove) - the water drained very slowly, and the base filled up quickly, so I had to turn the water off every couple of minutes to avoid overflowing. Not sure how housekeeping didn't notice if they cleaned the shower. Wifi worked well. Convenient parking.

We were impressed with this motel. Room was clean and a good size, parking right outside the door. It was a good location for our visit to San Rafael. I hope when we visit again the Basque restaurant will be open.

We come here to escape from horrible-non stop firework in San Francisco. The place is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. We accomplished our goal, to be far away from crazy and non stop fire work in San Francisco. The room is nice and clean. Staffs are friendly and professional. It's also pet friendly. Now we know where to go again when the next Forth July comes
