Hampton Inn & Suites San Luis Obispo

The hotel was clean and bright and the room was comfortable and clean. They had plenty of towels in the bathroom. Its your basic Hampton Inn. The hotel is easy to get to, not far from the freeway and there is plenty of parking. Hotel is far from Cal Poly. Would stay here again.

Stayed only one night. Good clean hotel. The only downside was the quality of the free breakfast. Not good at all. The staff was nice and checkin was quick and easy. I would stay here again but I would not get a room on the first floor again. Very noisy at night and I was somewhat by an exit.

It’s a solid example of a Hampton. You need a car - the shopping is a mile away and if there was transit I didn’t notice it. As is becoming typical in So Cal, finding available charging stations for EVs is increasingly difficult. They would benefit from a couple of chargers.

Pleasant stay at a convenient, clean and quiet Hampton Inn. I chose this property by accident, intending to stay at a different Hilton property in town where I have stayed before. I was glad I clicked on this one instead. It is smaller and more convenient to the freeway. I often travel with my two dogs, though not this time. Next time I will bring them. The smaller, more efficient lobby and shorter distance to the pet relief area in this property will be easier for me to manage my dogs - one is elderly and slow moving and the other is distracted by crowds. The same would be true for disabled people - easy to get around in the property. I am also a fan of Taco Temple, which is in the same complex. I will choose this property again when staying in SLO.

General Manager non-responsive after 5 attempts to get through. Double billed me. Staff is nice and after confirming with them that the General Manager had my info TWICE, still no call or resolution. Had to file a complaint vis Hilton Honors. Lots of work! BTW, stay was nice but don't want to pay twice!
