Motel 6 San Jose CA Airport

This place shouldn't be in business. First, we arrived to find out reservation that we made 3 days in advance, was no longer in the computer. We were told we had to wait to get another room until 11:10 pm. We arrived there at 3:30 pm. When we finally got our room, there was a homeless man sleeping on the walk way blocking the entrance to our room. We went to the office and the woman working was incredibly rude and asked me if the homeless man had done anything to me. I said no. However, he's blocking our door way. She then said, "So, what's the problem then?" I just walked back to my room. The man was gone because my husband asked him to move along. When we got into our room, the room was filthy. I mean, filthy. The floors were dirty, old food left in the refrigeratorthe doors and wls were dirty, the bathroom had no toilet paper and the tub and shower was so dirty. The worst of all, under the side table next to the bed on the floor my 11 year old son, found what I researched a bit to find out was a glass pipe used to smoke crack cocaine. We couldn't believe this. I went to our car to bring what cleaning supplies we happened to have with us and I was stopped by a guy asking me if I wanted to buy some crystal meth. Going back to our room, again I was stopped by another man in his car asking me if I was working and offered me money to have sex with him. At this point I'm in tears. Because of the late hour, we stayed locked in our room until the next day. We left without hesitation. 2 days early. We didn't even ask to cancel. We just got out of that place. This was a very unsafe and dirty place. I will never be staying at this Motel 6 or any other in the future.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now . All the staff has always made us feel so welcome but the one that really stands out is Debenncy. I recognize her attributes and she’s honest and sincere and goes out of her way to make sure whatever it is you may need- that it’s handled . It’s rare to meet people that do things from their heart and actually care and when you find it it’s definitely appreciated. Debenncy gives her job 100%. I would also like to mention the one employee that’s a “ handy man” , he’s been working there since we have been coming here. He needs to learn that he’s no better then any one else and the way he acts is extremely ugly. We all hopefully learn in this life that we are all people and equal and until your perfect then you can judge the next . Thank you Motel 6 you all are appreciated!!

This was a last motel that was available for a trip to California and close to the airport for a late night arrival. Family slept with clothes on due to the clumps of human hair on the sheets. People coming and going in a pot smoking room. I did talk to these folks since they were young and having fun but it was 1am. I did read the reviews for this place but it was the only one available and I made a mistake of thinking how bad it could be. The best part was getting up early the next morning and seeing one crutch and a sneaker at the bottom of the stair. Did not stay here for our return hotel.

we were given a handicapped room but not allowed to park by our room because we did not have a handicapped plate. Well sketchy people in the parking lot wanting to get into our room. Teen agers were running the front lobby and nobody seemed to know what was going on back there. This room has the bare minimum, the soap bar was so small I had to chuckle. I think we had to ask if we wanted a shampoo. I thought airport would be a nice area but it was sketchy

Everything else on the peninsula was full so ended up here. The room smelled, the beds were very uncomfortable. Sound proofing is poor and room was quite noisy. The guy at the desk was nice, but he was alone and quite harried by guest requests.
