The cleaning supervisor, Sheene Ghareeb did an exceptional job in finding my lost iPad. We had to change rooms to a different floor, and during the process, my iPad was accidentally left on the very top shelf, out of sight. The cleaning team made every effort to find it, but they couldn’t locate it. I then spoke with Supervisor Sheene, showed her my phone’s location tracker, and she immediately took charge. She called her team down to ask about it, and even went outside to search in the bushes. In the end, Sheene suggested we go back to the room and search again based on the location shown. My 9-year-old son joined us this time and pointed to the top shelf, and with Sheene’s help, she stretched up high and retrieved the iPad. It was such a joyous moment for all of us. Afterward, we left to enjoy our day, and when we returned, we were pleasantly surprised with a box of snacks and a thoughtful note. The kids were thrilled and wasted no time digging in. A heartfelt thank you to Courtyard Marriott and their wonderful staff for making our stay so memorable and pleasant.

Every time that my work brings me to San Diego, I always stay at this hotel as the staff makes me feel like family, goes above and beyond, and puts a new meaning to ā€˜home away from home’. Miss Stefanie, the supervisor, and her staff are the friendliest I’ve ever encountered and it shows in all of theirs smiles. They truly embody the meaning of taking care of people. The housecleaning staff always keeps my room immaculate and puts their own special touch whether it be extra towels and washcloths in a fun design. The location hands down is the best you can get here in San Diego as it is a stones throw from the Airport, is attached to Liberty Station that offers a variety of dining and shopping with an amazing park complete with walking/running paths along the sidewalk and water’s edge.

We arrived at the hotel on a Monday afternoon. Although the standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, the staff was very accommodating and had a room ready for us when we arrived at noon. This was especially appreciated since we had a car full of luggage and Christmas presents that we didn’t want to leave unattended while visiting Balboa Park. I requested a top-floor room away from elevators, ice machines, and the outdoor pool, and the hotel honored all of these requests without issue. Both the desk clerk and manager were fantastic, providing outstanding customer service. Our room, with two queen beds, was incredibly spacious—nearly twice the size of a typical hotel room. The bathroom was also very large, and the full-size refrigerator and microwave were welcome additions. The hotel was very clean, featuring a large, welcoming lobby and a spacious breakfast area. However, there is a $20/day parking charge, which seemed unnecessary given the ample parking space around the hotel. The Wi-Fi speed was 20 Mbps for both uploads and downloads, and we experienced no interruptions during our stay. While we could hear airplanes taking off from our room, the noise stopped around 9 PM and didn’t resume until approximately 7 AM. Our room was otherwise very quiet throughout the night. Everything in the room worked perfectly, with one exception: the heating system didn’t blow warm air, even when the thermostat was set to a high temperature. It only seemed to circulate ambient air. Thankfully, this wasn’t a major issue as the weather wasn’t too cold during our stay. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of items, including all the usual fare. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate chip scones! The coffee was also strong and flavorful. We were told at check in that our room would be serviced once during our 3 day stay, but no one did so In summary, we had another wonderful and peaceful stay at this property. I will definitely return in the future, provided their room prices remain reasonable.

Terrible hotel do NOT stay here. Very expensive and they do not clean your room. I am staying three nights and they did not clean or refresh my room with towels even. I even went down to the front desk and asked to have it cleaned before I left to meetings. When I came back no refresh whatsoever. Very lazy and sloppy staff. The lady at the front desk was as dumb as a sack of rocks? Look for another hotel in the area not worth the stay.

We have stayed at the TPS Liberty Station a few times now. It is a consistent property with a friendly staff. This trip our room was upgraded to the two-bedroom suite with my Bonvoy NUA. These seem tougher and tougher to use these days...I never thought I use one at a TPS but better here and than have them expire after multiple attempts at other properties. The two bedroom was handy with the extra room. Breakfast was standard TPS and tasty. The breakfast area was clean and well managed by the staff. The hotel is very close to the airport terminals...the current construction might make it quicker to get to the hotel. A short wait after calling for the shuttle made it easy to get to and from the airport. Plenty of restaurants in the area...nothing really walkable. One of our favorites in San Diego is Point Loma Seafood just a couple minutes away. A good stay...we'll always consider this hotel. Prices and redemption rates vary so much in San Diego I have a short list of properties that I check...this one is always a consideration.
