HYATT house San Diego Sorrento Mesa

Beautiful suite felt like an apartment. Quiet area. Hallways nice and quiet and smoke free. Parking was good. Breakfast was nice though could be a little longer during the weekday. Ending at 9am is not great for people on vacation who want to sleep in. Make breakfast until 10am during the weekdays and weekends. Adorable little Shih Tzu named Carmella?? at the front desk to greet us daily.

I recently stayed at Hyatt House San Diego and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I have to commend the housekeeping team for doing a superb job throughout my stay. On my first day, I experienced a mild allergic reaction to the towels, but I was incredibly impressed with how quickly the staff responded. They immediately replaced all the towels in my room and even provided me with antihistamine to help manage the reaction. Their prompt and caring response truly made me feel looked after. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was generous, with fresh fruits, yogurt, and eggs that I really enjoyed. I do think there’s still room to improve the variety beyond the usual bacon and sausage, but overall, it was a satisfying start to the day. All in all, I’m happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back. Great service and comfortable accommodations make this a solid choice when visiting San Diego.

first time staying there - had a great experience from check in to check out. room was clean and SO WELL LIT! the kitchen and refrigerator was good for keeping and heating food. our room was quiet and clean and comfortable to hang out after returning from sightseeing. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but the staff replenished the food often and kept the dining area clean. Front desk was awesome, during check in, greeted me as a Hyatt member and offered benefits up front, and later when I had a question, pretty much took care of it.

Room size was big. A kitchen was an unexpected addition. But there are no water stations nearby - just one near the single restaurant in the hotel. Daily room cleaning didn't happen, but plenty of linen was kept, so it didn't matter to us. Hotel could have offered a shuttle service to La Jolla Cove.

Great hotel and the hotel was a convenient location just for a quick turnaround visit with our daughter in San Diego. We love that we were able to bring our small dog for a fee and the breakfast was great! The check-in staff was very helpful and we got a customer of the day so we were offered a free parking.
