Regency Inn SFO Airport

This was a basic, but very clean motel, and the staff were great. There is no breakfast, but they did have coffee/tea/water with creamer/sugar/sweetener. The room had coffee/tea, a microwave, and a mini fridge. We were able to get dinner delivered from a nearby restaurant, and it was only 6 minutes to drive to long-term parking in the morning. It is by the airport, so the planes can be loud. I’m a light sleeper and slept through them, my husband is a heavy sleeper and they woke him up, so do with that information what you will. The bed was very comfortable though. All in all, a good place to crash for the night.

We stayed for one night (as we had a 24 hour layover) and wanted a hotel close to San Francisco airport. Our room was on the ground floor, and was very clean. It’s a basic hotel which was expected, and had everything we needed for the night. Check-in was easy and the staff were welcoming. We didn’t know there was breakfast included (it doesn’t state that there is breakfast included on Booking.com) and were not told about it during check in but we weren’t hungry in the morning so didn’t matter too much. There is a coffee machine in the room, though no milk so buy some if you would like creamer. Pro: location. The hotel is within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops on San Mateo Ave, a Target/Tanforan mall on Huntington Ave, and a train station. The airport is 5mins away by car. Con: we could hear our neighbouring rooms during the night (e.g., TVs and walking above us), so if you are a light sleeper I suggest asking for a room on the top floor. Take away: if you’re needing a budget-friendly option close to the airport, then this hotel will suit.

My wife, my 10 month old son and me had to do an overnight stay close to SFO Airport to get a connection flight. We also wanted to visit the highlights Of San Francisco. The Regency Inn was our forst choice because it was close to the airport and has some great options for public transport to downtown. We spend a perfect and quite night there. No noise from the airplanes and car traffic was fair. The staff is really great there. They helped us alot and very friendly and kind dueing the whole stay.

My family made a quick trip over the long 4th of July weekend to visit my daughter in San Francisco. We decided to stay at the Regency Inn on San Bruno Ave. I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a short distance from the Airport! The check-in process was smooth and easy. The front desk staff were very helpful with advice and directions to some beautiful scenic drives and places to visit in the city. We stayed on the ground floor. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was huge!! You don't find that anymore!! The A/C worked perfectly and the beds were so comfortable. I didn't wake up with aching sore hips and back. We felt well rested, and were not bothered by any outside noise. There was coffee available in the room but we didn't try it because there was coffee at the front office. No breakfast was served because of Covid, but the coffee was good, hot, and strong. The staff was very quick to clean the room so it was always ready for us no matter the time we showed up during the day. They all were so professional and helpful and truly wanted you to be happy with your stay. It's nice to see the pride they take in the hotel. We will always book at the Regency Inn every time we visit San Francisco!

I needed a place near the airport and also handy to public transportation for a very quick business trip. This place suited those needs well. Although it was a little farther to walk to the BART station than I had expected, it was a relatively easy walk, so no problems. The room was large, clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had not been expecting a lift to the airport in the morning, but they kindly set it up and it all worked beautifully. The only downside was that landing aircraft were quite noisy, but even this didn't particularly impede my enjoyment of my stay.
