Hotel Centro Sonoma Wine Country Tapestry Collection Hilton

We found this gem our daughter’s freshman year at Sonoma State University. It’s super clean, dog friendly and conveniently located. We stay at Hotel Centro about 7 times a year. We are always greeted by a friendly face. However, this spring we were greeted by a new employee, Rian. From the moment we walked in and he quickly greeted us he quickly became my new BFF. He exudes happiness and is super kind and helpful. He informed me there was a family discount for SSU families and I’ve since shared this information with at least 10 other SSU families of which have now booked Hotel Centro. This small, kind gesture from Rian resulted in a handful of extra bookings. He’s just one of those special humans that will be successful in anything he does. The Hotel Centro is lucky to have him and I feel lucky when we walk in to see his smiling face. The other employees are fantastic too, there’s just something extraordinary about Rian.

Room 401, 5 nights. The good: Newer property, quiet, good wifi, nice lobby, relatively friendly staff, ample parking space. The bad: Ants in the bathroom, dog hair on carpet, 4th floor hallway carpet wasn't vacccumed not even once in the 5 days we were there, weak shower pressure. Text from cust service came on 3rd day asking how we rated it. I said 3 out of 5. They said how can we improve? I said upgrade to our room, they only had a room on the third floor, I specifically wanted 4th, because I don't want to hear noise from upstairs. They then offered 1K HH points, I accepted the day after, they never replied. Breakfast is expensive for what is offered, funny how at full occupancy, breakfast area was nearly empty. Overall this is a nice property, management needs to step it up, will not return again.

Amazing service! Booked through a 3rd party (I had expiring credits) but hotels.com messed something up. Rian, Jed, and Aurora saw our distress and provided us with a great solution. We had a magnificent time. It’s our 4th stay, and we’ll keep coming back!

I discovered this hidden gem January 2025. I was always staying at other Hilton properties in the area, but not any longer. Easy access off the 101. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Very centrally located. The staff is friendly, and the food delicious. I’ve not been disappointed with anything I have tried. The outdoor space is well thought out and very relaxing.

Rian has made my stay at the hotel such a pleasant experience. He was very professional and kind. Thank yoooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
