Motel 6 Redding CA Central

The loud noise from the pub next door will not let you sleep until the wee hours. I am typing this review from my hotel bed as my whole body vibrates rhythmically with the persistent copy-machine-like beats of the "music" coming from the club right next to the hotel. It's really late (past 11 pm), we drove 5 hours to get here, and tomorrow we have about 7 more. We chose this hotel to rest (good luck with that) because of it's proximity to the freeway. The room is good, the staff is great, but we are exhausted, upset, and seriously considering our options (should we try to get a room in another hotel?) It would have been nice if someone would have warned us about the umbearably loud noise that we'd be hearing tonight. The whole room shakes every second with the intensity. If this is the usual, please inform your patrons about inconveniences like this one before they agree to stay. I'd never booked this hotel had I known I wouldn't be able to sleep.

Clean property parking lot and grass. They took their security serious as the proper was fenced well and they had lots of security cameras. Room was clean and everything worked. I told them at check out that the room was clean and they said they were working hard on upkeep of the property. Hard floors. Dog in tow. Felt safe. I would stay here again.

It's crazy that in 2020 our country still has motels without refrigerators and microwaves. But that's OK, at least our towels & bed sheets had someone else's hairs on them... NOTE: in the photos you'll see hair on the shower wall & thr towel. WE DID NOT USE EITHER! 2 tips: when your wife says "I am not showering here!" You've failed! And motel 6 is not family friendly. Our room was non-smoking, but the vents brought in plenty of second hand smoke from the hooligans outside standing by our vehicle. Lesson learned!

This was the worst stay I've ever had t any hotel! at one point the room that I booked for my daughter nd her husband around 11:30 pm on sept 7th an unregistered guest opened there hotel room using a card that never got deactivated, my son in law chased them off only to have the OnSite I'm site security guard demanded they show him their ID with no explanation or an apology.
