Hilton Garden Inn Redding

Nice quiet clean room, well appointed with river view. Parking right by front door. Convenient cafe area with fair variety on menu. We had fish tacos. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Reasonable price for this place. Would definitely say again,

The Hilton Garden Inn is a very nice hotel, recently (and still being) upgraded and with a competent, friendly staff. The room was large and clean and quiet. Our only complaint is that on the morning at checkout, they were charging for what is (at most roadside hotels) generally a complementary breakfast. This seems like overreach for a Hilton hotel. We had breakfast down the road.

We had our two dogs with us and found the staff extremely pleasant and we liked the fact there was a night guard roaming the premises (which we discovered taking one of our dogs out late!). The menu for dinner options was limited but about what we would have expected. Room was clean, and the premises were quiet. Reasonable place to stay especially if you are taking a break from a long drive to and from Oregon.

We had a family reunion of 61 people here for my mom's 95th birthday in Redding and most everyone stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. We used the large meeting room to have our festive celebration for the birthday party. We had the buffet of the prime rib dinner and chardonay chicken. Everything was delicious and the service was absolutely incredible. It was a whole weekend long event and Greg Knoell and his team were phenomonal from the planning in the beginning stages to taking care of every little thing that came up with such kindness and patience. It was a huge feat to pull off and I'm so appreciative of Greg and his team for helping me make it all happen. The family all had such a wonderful time.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel on a dark Halloween night that could have turned into a nightmare. Our pet dog, Louie, managed to to slip out of our room as we left a window ajar. An attentive & caring night clerk, just coming on to shift found Louie & promptly called our number on his dog tag alerting us to his escape. I can't express how grateful we are for the quick thinking & caring nature of the night clerk (I wish we had asked his name). Louie is a cherished member of our family & if it wasn't for this wonderful individual we could have lost Louie forever as this hotel is on a busy street near the freeway. The Hilton Hotel's pet-friendly policies & their exceptional staff made all the difference. Our stay was not just comfortable but also a lifesaver for our Louie. Thank you Hilton Hotel for going above & beyond. We highly recommend this pet-friendly hotel to all pet owners.
