Four Points by Sheraton Pleasanton

So upon arriving and checking in I was advised that there was no pool view available when I specifically booked for that. I checked in maybe a little past 3 and did the mobile check in already prior to arriving so I wasn’t sure why they didn’t save a room for my reservation. I was offered a garden view which I agreed to at this point since I’m assuming was their second best. After that check in was smooth. We stayed at room 221 which had an open patio that easily led to the garden/pool area. You can tell the room was clean. The smell of bleach was present but not overwhelming. It shows that the room was cleaned. We walked around the whole complex, were able to check out their gym which was also very clean. There were a good amount of people in the swimming pool and hot tub. No security patrolling the area so be aware of that. They have signs in the parking lot saying park at your own risk. Again, I don’t understand establishments charging for parking if you can’t provide some security. Before we left the following morning we saw syringes on the parking stall next to our vehicle where we parked. We brought this up to the front desk so it can get cleaned, but this made me decide to drop the rating to a 3 star. Customer service was amazing. They addressed all of our concerns but I was bummed that I didn’t get the room I booked and finding syringes in parking lots especially when there we’re kids running around the lot the night before is very concerning to me.

Awesome hotel. Price is good. Hotel staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Great location from the st patricks day activities and plenty of food and bar options in the area. BART station was near by as well. I would stay here again in the future.

It is always a pleasure to stay here. Quiet, comfortable and clean! It’s also a great deal for people looking for a place in Pleasanton that is reasonably priced. Staff is very nice and helpful. Courtyard is also pretty! There is no current restaurant (I believe it’s being remodeled), so there is only coffee and tea served in the reception area.

Lovely property with water feature and enticing pool area. The room and bed was comfortable and included all the necessities. Although not new, updates made to provide usb outlets by beds for electronics. TV not upgraded to allow Netflix, etc. Many food options nearby and easy freeway access. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is under renovation which is not a problem. The room, while clean, has an odd smell, as if someone had been cooking in it. The TV/Entertainment system needs to be updated. It is very basic. But the reason I gave it only 3 stars is because they charge for overnight parking. There is ample parking available. I understand the need to change at airport locations. The nearest commercial airport is 20 miles away. The only real access to this property is by car. Why should this be an extra charge? There are plenty of other hotels in the area that don’t charge for parking.
