Best Western Palm Court Inn

We were in a pet friendly room which was quite small,but the room was clean and comfortable. We were moving across the country so we are hauling a good amount of stuff for ourselves and our dog, and it was difficult to even fit out belongings inside (this was not an issue at any of the other places we stayed at. However, we were told we received the last pet-friendly room and I appreciate that we were able to get it, as I really don’t like most of the other hotel chains in this price range. There were a lot of people socializing right outside our room in the evening, drinking and talking loudly. It was a little annoying because they were RIGHT in front of our room but it did quiet down by the time we needed to sleep. There were laundry facilities and this was a huge benefit for us as we had a lot of dirty clothes. Breakfast was great. I really enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall I would definitely stay here again but would request a room in a more private area.

Real disappointment for Best Western property. Bathroom was horribly worn out. Towels were very thin and needed to be replaced. We even had a rag folded up as one of the towels! breakfast was a great disappointment as it was cold and very little of it. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Good location in Modesto for taking care of items on our agenda this day. Check in was fast, accurate and professional. Parking is ample around the property and easy to access any rooms. Be advised this motel is two story and has no elevators, os if toting a lot of items to upstairs rooms or you have physical limitations to climbing stairs, ask for a downstairs room. Room was spacious and clean, all room amenities were present and worked well. Only issue we had during our stay was wife went looking for ice for our beverages. She located the ice machine but it did not work. She went to the office to report the non-functioning ice machine...the BW rep followed her back to the ice machine to verify the machine did not work...my wife inquired of her if there may be another ice machine elsewhere on the property she could get some ice?? She was rudely told (in my opinion) "no, there are no other ice machines on the property...maybe you should go to the store and buy a bag of ice". Not sure why she got such a response...put a bad taste in our mouths about this property as a result. Otherwise, we had no other issues here. It was comfortable and quiet all eveneing. We did not have time next day to partake in the offered hotel breakfast served from 5:30 am to 9:30am. Check out next was uneventful.
