Aloft San Francisco Airport

My daughter dreamed of having a swimming slumber party with her friends and family, and hosting it at Aloft turned out to be absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was fun, open, and welcoming. The lobby was a great space for the kids—with plenty of games and room to gather. I was initially a bit nervous about celebrating in a public area, but the manager, Jonathan, was incredibly kind and reassured me that we were welcome to enjoy the space. The heated pool was a hit with the kids, and the nearby bathroom and shower in the pool area made it easy for them to change and clean up. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and connected, which gave us peace of mind since the kids are only 8 years old. We booked about six rooms for our group, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and the entire staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved the outdoor areas with games and space for the kids to run and play. Having the Westin and a Starbucks just across the street was a nice bonus for the adults! A huge thank-you to Jonathan and the Aloft team for helping create such a special and memorable birthday for my daughter. The customer service and experience truly exceeded our expectations.

We chose the Aloft Hotel as an alternative to the Marriott Waterfront SFO hotel but there isn't much of a difference. Expensive hotel (250USD/night) that isn't worth it. Breakfast is a big disappointment: quality is below fast food chains.

Stayed here for one night because of its proximity to the airport. They have big rooms and have connecting rooms for families. They have a spacious lobby with billiards, bar and lounges. They have a corner with some snack for sale. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes. It’s very convenient.

My room is on the first floor beside the exit. At 5am someone knocked on the door and I ignored it. 5 minutes later to my horror someone inserted a hook below the door trying to open it. Good thing I was already wide awake and asked "Can I help you?". It was then that the person withdrew the hook and ran away. I called front desk immediately but unfortunately there was no camera footage available. This is the first time this happened to me, and I felt totally unsafe staying there.

Love love, love the Aloft. So many fun little activities. I had George and Erica checked me in. I was very jetlagged and they were so accommodating and sweet. I miss did my reservation twice they figured it out. Even gave me my favorite room choice. I am grateful.
