Usc Hotel

"The USC Hotel is the perfect location for anyone visiting the USC campus. You literally can't get any closer! I stayed here while visiting my daughter, a student at USC. The room was clean and comfortable, although not overly luxurious. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which was important for me to get some work done. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and campus

Location can’t be beat if visiting USC. Hotel is great value. Clean and adequate. No frills. Bathrooms are small and 2 beds are not queens so small for 2 adults sharing. Strange that adjoining restaurants aren’t open on weekends. Biggest complaint is we asked concierge when to order an Uber for 5 am flight to LAX and he said 2 am. He checked with another guy who said 1:30. We settled on 2. We got there by 2:20 to find the airport dead, security closed. Felt like fools. Gates didn’t open until 3:20 or so. We should have left at 3 as we originally planned. If you don’t know the answer, don’t give an answer. Frustrated I dragged my family to the airport unnecessarily an hour early in the middle of the night.

It's a nice hotel at USC. I slept well, and the gym had friendly staff. But all the restaurants close at 7 p.m.! There is only fast food in the neighborhood, which is student-oriented. The Metro connection to Santa Monica Beach and Downtown is a plus. The area a minus.

The hotel is basic. You are paying for the location if you are attending the nearby venues. You are walking distance from the LAFC stadium and the LA Coliseum which takes about 15 mins to get to. Parking as of time writing this is $40 on top of your room. Decent getup and I will hopefully always come back to this place if there are any concerts i'd like to attend nearby.

Our family had a good but very short stay at the USC Hotel. Yes, the rooms could use a bit of an update, but they are fine considering you are staying there for the location. We got the included breakfast and paid for a top floor room with a view of campus. There is some road noise even up top, but nothing bad. One thing that was a bit of a disappointment, was the fact the windows were really not clean or clear. Other than that, we were comfortable and staff were very nice. You absolutely cannot beat the location if going to USC. Parking was way too expensive though.
