The Westin Los Angeles Airport

The hotel has its own shuttle which has frequent pick every 15mins from airport. Pro: good night sleep a bit of a distance from airport so you can’t hear the planes land. Room are large, modern, mini fridge, plenty of storage, lobby looks very beautiful, self service parking & clean. Hotel has a Starbucks & restaurant. We walked in with 2x suit case each the bell man came and helped us straight away! Loved that service. dislikes: when we checked in the body wash dispenser was empty, stayed for 4 nights room was not cleaned not even once, the ice machine on the our floor wasn’t working for 3 days! So I had to get ice from different floor. When we checked out the receptionist advised she will “email me”my receipt. The hotel manager tried to tell me on previous post that apparently they can’t send invoice if it was booked my 3rd party?! I booked all my accommodation through qantas hotels, stayed at 8 hotels in the US & they all were able to proved invoice except Westin at LA Airport. it’s been 5 weeks and still haven’t received copy of the invoice. You can’t even find the hotels email address. Would I stay here again?! NO not for the current rate & there is nothing close by. Kudos to the bell man & airport bus shuttle staff who seem far more efficient then front desk. hotel manager needs to stop making up excuses, some of us are well traveled and my post will be shared on social media.

4/15/2025 - Enjoyed a newly renovated Westin Club Lounge (with two identical specialty coffee machines) tonight. This might be the biggest, modern and stylish Club Lounge in Los Angeles, which outshines almost every M Club Lounge I have visited as well as any Westin Club Lounge in the U.S. Most Westin Hotels no longer have the Westin Club Lounge after a new ownership change took place in the past decade, e.g., The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles, The Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, The Westin Long Beach, The Westin Pasadena, etc. all eliminated the Club Lounge - It might be a cultural difference, which may cause the elimination of the Westin Club Lounge in the U.S. Thank you, Lone Star Funds, who has been continuously offering the Westin Club Lounge for Marriott Elite members year over year. The Evening Appetizers indeed outshines most M Club Lounges, many Sheraton Club Lounges but the deserts at Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills is a little bit better! It also has an outdoor pool and a small hot tub. On the other hand, the daily valid parking at $84 and self-parking at $64 is really expensive. I do enjoy a complimentary shuttle service to/from LAX. Per hotel, it provides a 24 by 7 service with three Shuttle buses daily.

I was there for one night before a flight from LAX. The location was perfect as I had a rental car and the airport rental cars building is at 2 minutes by foot from the hotel. I saved one day on my rental fees and no hotel parking cost in this case! - Room: oversized , nice and clean. - Beautiful lobby with a lobby bar, a lot of space, reception... - Pool: nice outside pool with chairs, whirlpool... - Restaurant: I had dinner there. It was OK, an average hotel-restaurant. - Shuttle to lax before my flight: fast and reliable. If I need to use a LAX hotel, this hotel will definitely be considered.

After an exhausting 24-hour travel ordeal, arriving at The Westin LAX could have been just another hurdle—but thanks to Gionni and Joshua, it became a moment of relief and exceptional hospitality. I called the hotel from outside the US, when I knew my flight would be delayed and got through to Gionni. Gionni, the manager, was everything a weary traveler could hope for, accommodating, proactive, and genuinely committed to ensuring I could get settled and rest without delay. Gionni’s professionalism and empathy turned a frustrating journey into a seamless transition to comfort. At the front desk, Joshua delivered a flawless check-in experience—efficient, smooth, and refreshingly effortless. His attention to detail and guest-first approach made all the difference. These two exemplify The Westin standard of service - not just meeting expectations but redefining them. They are true assets to the brand and a testament to what hospitality should be. I was on a business trip and we stayed at the Westin. What a wonderful experience! Our meeting room was well stocked and the Hotel Resturaunt was top notch! Eartha went out of her way to help me out when one of my clients had multiple special requests aand I cannot thank her enough. The hotel staff was warm and helpful. We have used other Marriott properties in LA, but The Weston has won our patronage with it's commitment to service. Thank you.
