This hotel just blatantly lies on the website about all the available facilities. Do you need the meeting room they promise? We did. That's why we booked. But they don't have one. Do you want to use the gym you read about on the website? They don't have a gym. Yep it says they have one on the website. You read that right. What they mean is that there's an LA Fitness in the area. You need to park your car? It's 40 dollars a day next door in the public garage with a broken elevator. Oh you wanted the lights off at night? That's too bad. Despite the blackout curtains, the light around the bottom edge of the bed does not turn off. Also the main light in the room makes a noise so loud it isn't possible to have a zoom call. And it is pretty difficult, too, to do any work at the silly desk that's 5 feet tall. The lobby is pretty decent. Everything else is a mess- no storage in the tiny room, no place to unpack clothes, no real desk. And, again, just none of the facilities they advertise. It's wild that they blatantly claim to have all kinds of amenities that do not in any way exist.

I stayed here for a work conference, and the location was perfect, within walking distance to LA Live Square and the conference center. Unfortunately, the rooftop bars werenât open during the week (Sunday to Wednesday), which was a bit disappointing since they looked so fun to have a cocktail at. That said, there were plenty of other things to do and see around the hotel, and itâs also walkable to the shopping area. While parts of LA can be dirty, other areas are quite nice, so just be mindful of where you go. I loved the unique style of the rooms and lobbyâit had a fun, kitschy vibe. The team was welcoming and friendly, making for a great stay.

This hotel is a disaster. It starts with parking in an old grafiti covered garage with only one elevator that works($31.05 per person). Next you go to the front of the hotel where there are 1 or 2 "security" guys standing texting on their phones---no, they don't open the door for you or help you with your luggage. They just stand there. There is no one inside the hotel to help you with your luggage. It is hard to get food to eat, room service closes early and when you call them you get connected to a number with no voicemail. The front desk is always one person and they are not welcoming or friendly. The rooms. Dark, inadequate lighting. Warehouse ceilings. Small, very small. Maid service is spotty. There is no real desk, just a narrow very high table with a chair. There is a shortage of power outlets in the room -- it is hard to do your nightly charging. No closets, just some hooks on the side of the room. No iron or ironing board. Ugly decor. Carpet is old and dirty. The bathrooms have been renovated but there is no counter space. No free breakfast. This is not a hotel, it is a low level motel located in an iffy part of Los Angeles. My advice---run away and go somewhere that they might say hello to you.

I had a wonderful stay here at The Wayfarer! The entire property is absolutely stunning and unique. My room was very clean and comfy; I slept soundlessly on their plush bedding! Melissa at the front desk was an absolute joy and made sure my stay was perfect; she upgraded me to a lovely double queen suite and I couldnât have been in anything better. Mark at the rooftop bar was amazing, he was attentive and even brought out some tasty beignets with a candle to help me celebrate my birthday; thank you so much for being so kind! Iâm already planning another visit to LA and this hotel will be my choice of stay. So perfect!

Clean, neat but very basic and small for the price! Although the room was neat and clean, we were very disappointed that it had no mini fridge or coffee making facilities. Staff were helpful and pleasant and answered any questions we had which we canât fault.
