Hyatt House LA University Medical Center

I had breast cancer surgery at the Keck USC Medical Hospital, and appointments with my surgeons at the USC Medical Facilities on the same campus, and it was perfect to stay at the Hyatt House on the same campus, and have the one bedroom suite with full kitchen for my extended stay and beginning of recovery. The bed was super comfortable and the complimentary campus shuttle was so convenient for getting around, to and from the various medical buildings that I (and my accompanying family members in assistance to me) needed to go to, and the drivers were all very pleasant. In addition, the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again when needed, and I will recommend the property very highly to anyone who needs an excellent place to stay while receiving medical care from the USC facilities.

Clean, spacious room. Wish we had a full size refrigerator for our suite. Hotel lobby was nice. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Shower pressure was decent. Bar in the lobby didn't have any coffee in the afternoon. Drinks were a bit pricey. Parking is definitely overpriced at $38/night. Otherwise, good location and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

A very clean, comfortable and extremely customer friendly hotel which is quickly becoming one of my favorite Hyatt properties! It’s located close to anything you may have planned! Across the street from one of Los Angeles finest medical facilities, great proximity to plenty of great restaurants, close to downtown LA & businesses district! A perfect location, perfect rooms that are well appointed and spacious and excellent customer service! We had dinner at the Capital Grill which was only 16 minutes away as well ! Don’t miss this jewel of a Hyatt Property!!

Stayed at this hotel as a globalist on awards. The pluses are that the free breakfast is plentiful and a lot of options and the parking is free for globalists staying on an award stay. However, the hotel really suffers due to the location. It's literally right next door to a busy freight train track where trains are constantly going by and blaring their horn all throughout the day and night. The hotel provides ear plugs in each room, but honestly it doesn't cut out the noise. If you are a light sleeper, avoid at all costs. Additionally, several times the trains would stop and block the road and the most direct route to the hotel would be blocked by the train for long periods of time. There is a detour to get around this, but Google maps does not route you this way so you need to know your way around downtown. No daily cleaning service, just sealed the deal that I would not stay at this property again.

If you are visiting someone at the closets hospital this place is not friendly at all when it comes to give kind rates. you could pay $149 +taxes, $199 +taxes or $440 +taxes. Last time I asked to spend the nite the rate was $360 +taxes. These rates were in a 10 day period. I wish they could have special rates for people that have a loved one in the hospital. The staff was very caring and tried to help every time I was there.
