Alamo Motel

Very small mom and pop motel in a high tourist area. No frills, and parking can be a problem if your vehicle is too big. However, the rooms were clean and showers were hot. A/c was a little on the weak side, but adequate. No breakfast but McDonald’s is close by. Guy at the front desk was nice and helpful and I’d stay again if I ever needed a room in Sheridan, WY again.

This was our overnight choice based on reviews. The room was clean, but I truly did not have a good sleep. I couldn't regulate the heat very efficiently with an old wall heater. The traffic was abit loud for me. Overall, the price was good but the merchants machine only accepted my Mastercard, not either of my Visas...this was abit frustrating and inconvenient

Motel is old but clean. When it came to cleaning our room daily that is non existent. We had to throw our own trash and had to ask for clean towels. Not many outlets. Small bathroom. Only one plug worked in the bathroom. No place to hang towels or clothes. I’d look for a better place. We had good cable and internet too

Selected this motel for its high marks for cleanliness and it was clean. Quite old and outdated. Floor in front of the bed was slanted and it looked like the carpet had been replaced in one small section. TV was WAY across the room from the beds. The room did have a fridge, microwave and coffeepot but the blinds were broken so the room let light in at night. Parking lot is very small, especially when most people have pick-up trucks. Drink machine wouldn't take my dollar bills so have change on you if you need a drink. Worked for what was needed for the night.

Attention! Not pet friendly. When we arrived they didn't honor our reservation because they have rooms for dogs and they only have 4. All motels and hotels were full. We ended up buying camping gear and sleeping in a campground after a 6 hour drive. Dogs are not even allowed on the grass there.
